Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission into B.Sc M.Sc courses to be offered at Amrita University must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying. The details of Amrita University B.Sc M.S admission 2020 eligibility criteria are provided below:
UG Courses
- B.Sc. in Microbiology: Aspirants must have done higher secondary examination with no less than 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.
- B.Sc. in Biotechnology: Applicants should have completed 12th or higher secondary examination or its equivalent examination with no less than 60% marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biotechnology/ Biology taken together.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
PG courses
- M.Sc. in Bioinformatics: Applicants should have done graduation in any stream of science Mathematics, Engineering or Medicine. Background in Computer Science or Mathematics will be given preference.
- M.Sc. in Microbiology: Applicants should have done graduation in any stream of Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Medicine or Equivalent with background in Biology.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham B.Sc M.Sc Application Form: How to apply?
Candidates can apply online through visiting the University’s official website link at www.amrita.edu. All the applicants are advised to read the important instructions and eligibility criteria as mentioned in the information brochure carefully before starting the application fill in process. For successful application process, candidates have to pay certain amount as prescribed for both B.Sc and M.Sc courses as per the schedule date. Payment of application fee can be made either online via using Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Net Banking or offline through Demand Draft. Applicants should fill in all the required details correctly and review it before final submission. There will be no need to send the print out of application form.
