RUHS Nursing Admission 2024: Rajasthan University of Health Sciences is going to release the official notification for admission into nursing courses such as Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, & B.Sc. Nursing for the upcoming academic session i.e. 2024-25. Admission entrance test will be organized at various centers situated in Jaipur in Online Mode. Eligibility Criteria

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

Non-Service Candidates

In-Service Candidates (Employees of Rajasthan State Government)

· Must be passed H.S or 10+2 or Senior Secondary or an equivalent examination recognized by the University.

· Applicants having a Diploma in General nursing completed before /after the execution of new integrated course and must be registered as Registered Nurse and midwife with their related State Nursing Council are eligible to apply.

· The applicants must have gone through GNM with institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

· Should be medically fit

· The applicant must be in service of Government of Rajasthan.

· They must have completed minimum of two years of constant service after joined the service. The applicants are needed to submit a certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Director, Medical and health Services. Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

· There is no provision on age limit for the admission to post basic B.Sc. Nursing.

For M.Sc nursing course

Non-Service Candidates

In-Service Candidates (Employees of Rajasthan State Government)

Applicants should have done B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic (T & R), B.Sc. Nursing (Hons)/ B.Sc. Nursing from Rajasthan University of health Sciences/ University of Rajasthan or any other University recognized by recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

Aspirant must be registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with their respective state Nursing Registration Council.

There will be no age limit decided for M.Sc nursing

Candidate should hold at least 1 year experience after completing B.Sc. Nursing / Prior or After Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

Apart from the eligibility criteria prescribed by Non-service category, candidates must satisfy the below conditions:

Candidate must be in service of State Government of Rajasthan

Aspirants must have done at least two year of constant service after getting the regular appointment by State Government of Rajasthan. They need to produce a certificate to the above effect duly signed by the Director, Medical and Health Service, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

For B.Sc nursing (4 Years) programme

Educational criteria

An applicant should have completed the Senior Secondary School Certificate examination (Science-Medical group) organized by a constitutional Board in all the necessary subjects and the elective subjects of the Medical group such as Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or any other examination recognized by the University of Rajasthan as equivalent thereto with no less than 45 % marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved category) in aggregate of Physics, English, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the qualifying examination.

Age Limit

The minimum age limit for candidate is 17 years.
The upper age limit for female candidates is 28 years whereas for male candidates the upper age limit is 25 years

Interested and eligible candidates can fill and submit the RUHS Nursing 2024 application form online from the official website of university. Aspirants are advised to first ensure their eligibility that whether they satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions or not before filling the online application. Candidates should fill the required details in the application form carefully without attempting any mistake. Submit the duly filled in application form completed in all respects without any mistake on or before the due date. Application form received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances.

RUHS Nursing Selection Procedure

For B.Sc Nursing

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit decided through the entrance examination organized by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur

For M.Sc nursing

The admission will be strictly based on the merit of Entrance Examination.

For Post Basic B.Sc Nursing

Admission will be based on the marks obtained by candidate in entrance examination along with 1% bonus marks on the successful completion of every two years of nursing services under Rajasthan State Government on or before the closing date of RUHS Nursing 2024 application submission.
