Lovely Professional University (LPU) has invited the applications for admission in different undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by it. Candidates can apply for LPU NEST 2022 by filling the online application form. Applications will be considered for two different schedules. Candidates can choose any one of the schedules and apply for entrance accordingly. Before filling the online form, candidates must make sure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university in order to take the test. The test will be held in online mode and candidates will get a total of 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the paper.

LPU NEST 2022 Highlights

• Candidates can apply for admission in different UG and PG program offered by only through the online mode. No printed application form shall be considered for submission in this regard.
• It is mandatory for the applicants to pay the necessary application fee for the exam. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Candidates can apply for any of the entrance test schedules as per their convenience.
• Admission through LPU NEST will be given to the candidates based on their performance in the exam.
• For some courses, the authority might conduct interview round as per their discretion to select the candidates for admission.
• Candidates should possess a valid email id and contact number as the authority will use these mediums to communicate with the applicants.

LPU NEST 2022 Application form

The application form for LPU NEST 2022 will only be available in online mode. Candidates need to register themselves for the entrance exam by visiting the official admission portal of the university. To register for the exam, candidates need to provide their basic details such as phone number, email id, name, etc. Once the registration is successfully done, applicants need to login into the portal to fill the application form.

The form will consist of the details pertaining to the personal, educational, bank, and other relevant information that must be entered by the candidates correctly. Candidates also need to book a time slot to choose the date and time at which they want to take the entrance test. If any stage, the information provided by the candidates is found to be incorrect then the candidature of that candidate shall be cancelled immediately. Incomplete applications or those received without the application fee will be rejected by the authority.

Application fee

Male applicants are required to pay Rs. 700/- as the application fee for the entrance test and female candidates need to pay Rs. 400/- for the same. The payment of the application fee can be made through online mode or DD to be drawn in favour of “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar. LPU NEST 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for different UG and PG courses are mentioned below-

UG courses

• BTech: Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam or its equivalent with 60% aggregate marks and have studied physics, mathematics and English as subjects in the qualifying examination.
• BDes: Applicants should have passed class 12^th exam or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. They should have studied English as one of the subjects in class 12^th.
• BSc (Hons.) Agriculture: Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam or its equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board. They should have studied English, Physics, Chemistry & either Maths or Biology or Forestry as subjects. Those holding 2 years of diploma in agriculture can also apply.
• BA LLB/BBA LLB/B.Com LLB: A pass in class 12^th or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks is required. Candidates should also have studied English or equivalent subject.
• BMHCT/ B.Sc (Hotel management): Candidates should have passed class 12^th exam or its equivalent with 50% aggregate marks. They should also have studied English as a subject in class 12^th.

PG courses

• LLM: Applicants should have passed LLB degree program with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
• MCA: Applicants should have done BCA or B.Sc (comp. sci./ IT) or graduation with computer science as a subject or with mathematics/ statistics/business math /business statistics/QT as one of the subjects at graduation or class 12^th
• MBA: Candidates should have done graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks in aggregate.
• Tech: Candidates should have completed BE/ B.Tech degree program in relevant discipline with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

LPU NEST 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for UG programmes will be based on the curriculum prescribed for class 12^th. Candidates wishing to appear for PG entrance test need to study the relevant UG syllabus of the PG course they wish to enroll into. The detailed syllabus can be obtained from the official website of LPU NEST.

LPU NEST 2022 Admit card

• The admit card of LPU NEST can only be downloaded from the official website of the university.
• Candidates can obtain the admit card after booking the exam slots.
• They need to take a printout of the admit card and keep it safe for future purpose.
• It is compulsory for the applicants to bring the admit card to the exam hall failing which they won’t be allowed to appear in the exam.
• Applicants are also required to carry a valid govt. ID proof such as voter ID card, Aadhar card, passport, pan card, driving license etc to the exam hall.

Result and Counselling

• The result of schedule-I will most probably be declared in the month of February 2022 and May 2022 for schedule-II.
• To check the result, candidates need to login into the admission portal of the university using their credentials created at the time of registration.
• A merit list will be prepared by the authority to shortlist the candidates for admission based on their performance in the exam.
• Selected candidates will be then invited to attend the counselling procedure where a seat will be allotted to them.
