UBTER will soon be inviting the candidates for admission in different engineering and non-engineering trades offered by the industrial training institutes located in the state of Uttarakhand. Interested candidates need to apply for Uttarakhand ITI admission 2022 by filling the online application form. The form will most probably be released in the last week of March 2022. Before filling the form, candidates need to ensure their eligibility status i.e. if they can appear for the exam or not. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured by them in the entrance test.

• Only online applications will be considered a valid one for admission in UK ITI. No printed forms shall be entertained by the authority in this regard.
• Candidates must possess a valid mobile number and email id to register for the exam. The authority will communicate to them through these mediums only.
• The application form should be submitted on or before the due date specified by the authority to avoid the last-minute technical error.
• Selection of the candidates for admission in various ITI trades will purely be given on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the exam.
• The counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds and the candidates will be allotted a seat based on different factors.

Application form

To apply for Uttarakhand (UK) ITI admission, candidates need to visit the official website of the UBTER i.e. www.ubter.nic.in. In order to register for the exam, they need to provide the following details- name, father’s name, date of birth, contact number, email id, educational details, gender, religion, etc. The details provided by the candidates should be correct and match the official records. If at any stage, the information given by them is found to be misleading, then such candidates will be disqualified from appearing in the exam. Applicants will also need to upload their latest passport-sized photograph and signature in the application form. The form should be submitted on time to avoid disappointment or rejection of application by the authority. Candidates also must pay the requisite amount of application fee for the entrance exam. Incomplete applications or those received without the application fee will end up getting rejected.

Eligibility criteria – Uttarakhand ITI admission 2022

Applicants can check their eligibility status for Uttarakhand ITI admission as mentioned below-

Nationality and domicile: Indian nationals who are domicile of Uttarakhand can apply for the exam. They must fulfill the local/non-local status of Himachal Pradesh.

Age criteria: Applicants must be at least 14 years old at the time of admission. No upper age limit is defined for appearing in the entrance exam.

Educational qualification

• Sheet metal worker/ general carpenter/ welder etc: Candidates should have passed class 8^th exam from a recognized board.
• Architectural assistance/ tool and die maker/ Information technology/ fitter/ Draughtsman/ mechanic diesel etc: Applicants should have passed class 10^th examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics and Science as subjects of study.
• Computer operator and programming assistant/ plumber/ painter/ mechanic/ fashion technology etc: Candidates should have completed class 10^th or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.

Admit card

• Candidates can obtain the admit card of UK ITI admission 2022 from the official website of UBTER.
• They need to download and print the admit card for future references.
• The details printed on the admit card must be thoroughly checked and any discrepancies in the same should be communicated to the authorities on time.
• It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit card along with a valid govt. ID proof to the exam venue.
• On failing to produce the hall ticket, the authority won’t allow the candidates to appear in the exam.

Result and counselling

• The result of Uttarakhand ITI admission 2022 can be checked from the official website i.e. ubter.nic.in.
• The authority will publish a merit list stating the names of the candidates selected for admission.
• Those whose name appears in the merit list will undergo the counselling process where they need to choose the course/trade and institute in which they seek admission.
• After the counselling is finished, candidates will be allotted a seat based on their merit rank, availability of seat, choices opted during the counselling and fulfillment of the eligibility criteria.
• Candidates need to report to the allotted ITI as per the schedule given in provisional allotment letter to complete admission related formalities.
