SBI Clerk 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria should be checked before you start application process for any examination. The applicants should go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the form for SBI Clerk 2022. Check out the eligibility criteria mentioned below-
Age Criteria
The age of candidates should not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 1st April 2022 which means candidates must have been born not earlier than 2nd April 1994 and not later than 1st April 2002 (both days inclusive).

Note- Candidates who are willing to avail age relaxation, they need to submit the required certificate at the time of joining. The change in category is not allowed once the registration process is over.
Academic Qualification
Candidates should have graduated from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government. Those are having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate they need to ensure that the date of passing the qualification is on or before 16th August 2022.
Final year/semester candidates are also permitted to apply.
SBI Clerk 2022 Application Form
One can apply for SBI Clerk 2022 in online mode and no other mode of application is valid. Candidates are required to register through the bank’s official website- https://bank.sbi/careers. Once the registration process is over, candidates need to pay the prescribed application fee using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking.

Guidelines to apply for SBI Clerk Exam
- You need to scan your photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and hand–written declaration. The size of your photograph should be in between 20 kb–50 kb and the size of Signature, Left thumb impression and Hand writing declaration Image should be in between 10 kb –20 kb.
- The text for the hand–written declaration is as follows:“I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”.
- If a candidate does not have his/her left thumb then he/she may use his/her right thumb for applying.
- You need to go to the bank’s website https://bank.sbi/careersor https://www.sbi.co.in/careers and find the appropriate link for application.
- Candidates should carefully fill the application form with genuine details. They can save the form in the middle and continue later. No further changes would be allowed.
- Once you are sure that everything in the application form is correct and in order then you can pay the prescribed fee for application. One can pay the fee using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking.
- Take printout of your application form and e-receipt. You don’t need to send the printout to the concerned authority.
SBI Clerk 2022 Application Fee
The application fee can be paid either through online (via debit/credit card or net banking) or offline (via challan) mode. The application fee for different categories is as follows-
- The application fee for General/ OBC/ EWS– Rs 750/–
- For SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS/DXS– Nil
SBI Clerk 2022 Selection Process
The applicants can plan their preparation for an examination if they know the selection process of that particular examination. The selection process will comprises of on–line test (Preliminary & Main exam) and test of specified opted local language.
Phase–I: Preliminary Examination: It will be an objective test of 100 questions. The exam is conducted in online mode over a duration of 1 hour. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks from each incorrect answer.

1/4 marks will be deducted for every incorrect entry made by candidate. \
Test of specified opted local language:
Those who qualify for selection and produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others (qualified for selection), specified opted local language test will be conducted after provisional selection but before joining. Candidates not found proficient in specified opted local language would be disqualified.
The marks obtained by candidates in Prelims is not added while preparing the merit list. The final selection list is prepared based on candidates’ performance in the mains exam.
Syllabus- The examination syllabus of SBI Clerk 2022 covers vast area. You can follow standard 10th & 12th books to prepare for English Language & Quantitative Aptitude. You need to keep a close watch on latest happening to prepared for current affairs. The more you practice, the more you will become perfect. You can try mock tests, practice previous years’ question papers etc.
SBI Clerk Pay Scale
Rs.17900–1000/3–20900–1230/3–24590–1490/4–30550–1730/7–42600–3270/1–45930–1990/1–47920.The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/–(Rs.17900/–plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).
SBI Clerk 2022 Admit Card
The admit cards will be issued online in the official website of SBI. There will be separate admit card issued for each examination. The applicants will have to bring their admit cards at the examination centre along with a photo ID proof along with admit card.
Preliminary Examination: Candidates can download their respective admit card simply by entering their registration number and password/date of birth from the bank’s official website.
Mains exam- Candidates who are selected for appearing in the Mains exam can only download their admit card. They need to bring the call letters for prelims and mains exam together while appearing for the mains exam.
Candidates are required to bring two additional photographs along with call letter and other required documents. Please note no hard copy of the prelims and mains admit card will be sent via post.
SBI Clerk 2022 Result
The examination result for SBI Clerk 2022 will be published in the official website of SBI. The eligible applicants will be selected on merit basis. The finally shortlisted applicants will be recruited on the clerical post of SBI.

Cut offs
The cut offs are the minimum qualifying marks that applicants have to score to qualify the examination. For SBI Clerk 2022 the cut off marks will be decided by the examination authority.
