IPU CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The course-wise eligibility criteria for appearing in the IPU CET 2022 are provided below:

Undergraduate courses:

• B.Tech: The candidates should have cleared their class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least 55% marks in aggregate of these subjects. Those with a 3-year Diploma in relevant branch of engineering with not less than 50% aggregate marks are eligible for lateral entry. A pass in the English subject is also required.
• BCA: Applicants who have passed their class 12th exam from a recognized board are eligible to apply.
• BBA: Those who clear their class 12th exam scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate to apply. A pass in the English subject is also required.
• LLB: A pass in class 12th exam scoring a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required. The candidates should also pass the English subject at 10+2 level.
• B.Com: Candidates with a pass in class 12th with at least 50% in aggregate are eligible to apply.
• B.Ed: The applicants with a bachelor’s and/ or master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities with at least 50% marks in aggregate or BE/ B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics and minimum aggregate of 55% marks are eligible.

Postgraduate courses:

• M.Tech: The candidates should have done their BE/ B.Tech in relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• MBA: Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible. Those with a pass in the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India are eligible too.
• LLM: Those with an LLB degree recognized by the Bar Council of India for Enrollment as an Advocate or an equivalent Law Degree from a Foreign University scoring not less than 50% marks are eligible.
• MCA: A bachelor’s degree (BCA/ BIT/ BIS/ BE/ B.Tech) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required. The candidates should also pass in Mathematics and English subjects either at 10+2 or graduation level.
• M.Ed: The applicants who hold a B.Ed/ BA B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed/ B.El.Ed/ D.El.Ed degree with not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.

IPU CET Application Form 2022

The application form for University of IPU CET 2022 can be submitted through online mode by visiting the official website www.ipu.ac.in. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure carefully before they apply for the exam.

• To fill the application form, the candidates are required to provide their basic personal details like name, date of birth, category, mobile number, email address, etc.
• Details related to qualifying exam such as university/ school name, year of passing, marks obtained, etc will also be asked in the application form.
• Candidates’ photograph and signature in scanned format should be uploaded into the application form as well.
• After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates need to submit the it along with the prescribed application fee.
• Upon successful submission of application form and fee, a printout of the form should be taken and kept safe for future reference.

• The application fee for IPU CET 2022 is expected to be INR 1000.

IPU CET Admit Card 2022

• The admit card to appear for the IPU CET will be released on the official website of the university.
• Candidates should download their admit card and take its printout to be carried to the exam center.
• Important details related to candidates and exam such as name, roll number, category, exam center address, exam date & time, etc will be printed on the admit card.
• Applicants reporting to the exam center without their admit card and a photo identity proof will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
• Admit card must not be damaged or distorted in any manner or else it will not be considered as valid.

IPU CET 2022 Answer Key

• After the entrance test is over, the authority will release the answer key. Candidates can check the answer key from the official website of the university.
• Those who find any kind of discrepancy in the answer key can submit their grievances against the same with a fee of Rs. 200/- per question within five days of release date.
• Concerned authority will look into the matter and rectify the answer key, if required.
• The revised key will be uploaded on the official website and no complaint will be entertained after that.

IPU CET Result 2022

• The university will publish the result of the entrance exam in online mode on its official website.
• Using their roll number and other details as asked, the candidates will be able to check their result.
• A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance exam.
• Those who qualify the exam will be invited to attend the counseling round as per their names in the merit list.

IPU CET FAQs 2022

Is it possible to obtain the application form via offline mode?

The application form for the entrance exam will only be released online on the official website of the university. No mode for offline application filling or submission is provided by the authority.

Can I select the exam center of my choice?

The candidates will be allowed to provide their choice for the examination center at the time of filling the application form.

If I found any mistakes in my admit card, how can I correct it?

In case of any issue in the admit card, the candidate should report at the Facilitation Counter in the university campus proper documentary proof, two passport size photographs and photo identity card.

Can I get a refund on my application fee if I do not wish to appear for the exam?

No. The application fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

What if I fail to appear for the counseling round in the given time limit?

Candidates who fail to report for exam, counseling, admission, etc in the given time limit will lose their candidature and will be considered as disqualified.
