Delhi Polytechnic 2022 (CET): Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria
Department of Training and Technical Education will conduct an entrance exam for admission of candidates to diploma programmes in various institutes affiliated to Board of Technical Education, Delhi. The exam will be conducted as pen and paper-based test tentatively in the month of May 2022. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to fill the online application form tentatively from the month of March 2022 onwards. Delhi Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria 2022
Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below to be eligible for Delhi Polytechnic 2022 exam:
- Diploma courses in Applied Art, Architectural Assistantship, Art for Drawing Teachers, Automobile Engineering, Cosmetology & Health, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Construction Technology/ Public Health & Environmental Engineering), Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics/ Medical Electronics), Fashion Design, Garment Fabrication Technology, Information Technology Enabled Services & Management (ITES&M), Interior Design, Instrumentation & Control, Library & Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Medical Laboratory Technology, Polymer Technology, Printing Technology, Production Engineering, Tool & Die Making: The candidate should have passed class 10th or equivalent exam with minimum 35% marks in aggregate. Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in each of these subjects.
- Modern Office Practice (English), Modern Office Practice (Hindi): A pass in class 12th exam with not less than 35% marks in aggregate of best three subjects including English for MOP (English) and Hindi or Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi) is required. The candidate should have obtained pass marks in English for MOP (English) and Hindi/ Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi).
- Pharmacy: Applicants need to pass their class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
- Lateral Entry (for Delhi region candidates only): Those with a pass in class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology or 12th Science with Vocational/ Technical subjects or 10th and 2 years ITI in appropriate trade are eligible.
Delhi CET 2022 Application Form
The candidates can obtain the application form for Delhi Polytechnic exam 2022 by visiting the official website of the Delhi CET www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in. No mode other than online will be provided to the candidates for submission of application form.
- The first step in the application process is the online registration of the new candidates by providing details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email address, correspondence address, etc.
- A password should be created and a security question-answer also need to be entered in the registration form.
- Once all the details are entered, the candidates can proceed with the submission of registration form.
- After successful registration, the candidates can login using the application number generated and created password and start filling the application form.
- In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their rest personal and academic details.
- Candidates also need to upload their signature, photograph and thumb impression in the application form in scanned format.
- The duly filled application form can now be submitted by the candidates along with the specified application fee.
- A printout of the application form should then be taken and kept safe by the candidates for future reference.
Application fee:
- The application fee for Delhi Polytechnic exam is expected to be Rs. 400/- and is non-refundable.
- Online mode will be provided for the submission of application fee and payment can be done using debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Delhi CET 2022 Admit Card
- The candidates can download their admit card from the official website of CET Delhi www.cetdelhiexam.nic.in.
- A printout of the admit card should be taken and carried to the exam center on the day of exam.
- Candidates who fail to carry the admit card while reporting to the exam center will not be allowed to give their exam.
- Details about the examination like center and schedule along with important instruction to be followed at the center will be mentioned in the admit card.
- Admit card is an important document that should be preserved by the candidates till the whole process of admission is over.
Delhi Polytechnic Result 2022
- Authority will declare the result of the entrance exam through online mode tentatively in the month of June 2022.
- Candidates will be able to check their result using their roll number by visiting the official website.
- A merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of marks scored by them in the entrance exam.
- Counseling and admission of the qualified candidates will be done as per their names in the merit list.
Delhi Polytechnic 2022 Counseling
- Details regarding the online counseling process will be communicated to the candidates from the official website after declaration of result.
- Candidates will have to register themselves along with payment of counseling fee and also fill the online choice form.
- Result of the counseling process will be announced and provisional allotment letter will be released for download.
- Candidates should report to the allotted institute with the allotment letter and other documents for verification.
- After successful verification, final admission will be granted to the candidates.

Both merit scholarship and merit-cum means scholarship are available at Government Institutes /Polytechnics for enrolled students.
