HP TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for this exam. The eligibility criteria for HP TET 2022 examination are as follows.
TGT (Arts)
- BA/ B.Com Pass with a minimum of 50% marks along with 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). Or
- B.A./ B.Com with at least 45% marks (only if candidates have passed B.Ed. up to 30th August 2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30th August 2009). Or
- B.Ed. in accordance with NCTE (recognition norms and procedure) regulation issued from time to time in this regard. Or
- 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- 10+2 passed with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed. Or
- BA/ B.Com with a minimum of 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education)
TGT (Non-Medical)
- B.Sc. (NM) with a minimum of 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). Or
- B.Sc. (NM) with a minimum of 45% marks (only if candidates have passed B.Ed. up to 30th August 2009) and 50% marks (for those who have passed B.Ed. after 30th August 2009). 1 Year Bachelor in Education in accordance with NCTE regulations issued from time to time in this regard. Or
- 10+2 passed or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- 10+2 passed with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.Sc. (NM) Ed. Or
- B.Sc. (NM) with a minimum of 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education
Junior Basic Training (JBT)
- 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board/ university and must have a JBT certificate course from an institute duly recognized by the Central/ State Govt. Or
- 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education. Or
- Senior secondary passed with a minimum of 45% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education in accordance with NCTE, Regulations, 2002. Or
- 10+2 or equivalent passed with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Or
- Senior secondary or equivalent passed with at least 50% marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education (special education). Or
- Completed graduation and 2 years diploma in elementary education.
HP TET 2022 Application Form
The application process of HP TET 2022 examination will take place in online mode only. Those candidates who want to apply need to access the application form through the official website. The complete process related to the application process is given below.
- To start the process of application form submission, aspirants have to visit the official website.
- On the official website, candidates have to find and click on the link to open the application form.
- In the application form, candidates are required to provide their educational, personal, and contact details.
- Candidates must make sure that they enter all the details accurately in the application form.
- Along with the details, aspirants have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature.
- It is also compulsory for all candidates to pay the application fee while submitting the application form.
- It is advised that candidates should take a printout of the application form submitted for future requirements.
Application Fees
The application fees are different for candidates from various categories.
- General candidates: Rs. 800/-
- OBC/ ST/ SC/ PH candidates: Rs. 500/-
Mode of payment: Aspirants can pay the application fees online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
Admit Card
- Once the application form submission process gets completed, candidates will be able to download the admit card.
- By entering their registration details, candidates will be able to download their admit card.
- An admit card will contain important information related to the date, time, and venue of the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without an admit card.
- The admit card will be made available four days before the exam date.

Answer Key
- Soon after the exam, authorities will publish the answer key online through the official website.
- Candidates can use the answer key to match their answers with the correct ones.
- In case a candidate is not satisfied with the answer key then he/ she can also challenge the same.
Result
- The result will be announced in online mode through the official website.
- Candidates will be able to check the result by providing their roll numbers and registration details.
- The result card will contain information on the number of marks secured by candidates in different subjects and overall.
- Please note that there is no provision for re-evaluation or rechecking of the OMR sheets.
- Candidates must secure at least 60% marks in order to clear the HP TET 2022 exam.

Question – 1: In which language, the questions in the examination will be asked?
Answer: The questions will be asked in both English and Hindi language. The question paper of shastri will be partly in Sanskrit and partly in Hindi, Punjabi/ Urdu language.
