Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB) is the authority that will release the official notification for Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test or CG TET. The aim of this exam is to determine the eligibility of aspiring candidates who are looking to apply for the posts of Primary and upper primary teachers in the state of Chhattisgarh. CG TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Those candidates who want to apply must make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria are different for both paper – 1 and paper – 2 as explained below.
Primary Level (Class I-V) – Paper I
- 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or
- 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks and 2 – year diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE Regulation, 2002. Or
- Higher Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks 4 years Bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.). Or
- 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 years diploma in education (special education). Or
- Candidates must have completed graduation along with 2 years diploma in elementary education
Upper Primary Level or Elementary Level (Class VI – VIII) – Paper II
- Graduation along with 2 year diploma in elementary education. Or
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in pedagogy/ 2 years Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) degree. Or
- Candidates must have completed graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Regulation. Or
- 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Or
- 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Or
- Graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks and passed/ appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education)
CG TET Application Form 2022
Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur will release the application form in online mode only. Those candidates who want to apply need to visit the official website i.e. cgvyapam.cgstate.gov.in. Complete details related to the application process are provided below.
- To begin the process of application, candidates have to visit the official website and begin registration.
- At the time of registration, aspirants have to provide their basic details including name, email, phone number, etc.
- Once registered, candidates can sign-in and access the main application form.
- In the main application form, aspirants have to provide their complete academic, personal, and contact details.
- Candidates must ensure that they enter authentic details in the application. The board can reject incorrect and incomplete application forms.
- Along with the details, it is also compulsory for all candidates to upload scanned images of their photographs. The photograph should be in JPEG format.
- After submitting the application form, candidates are also required to pay the necessary application fee.
- It is advised that aspirants should take a printout of the application form submitted and keep it safely for future requirements.

Mode of payment: Candidates can pay the application fee online using a credit card/ debit card or internet banking. Alternatively, fees can also be paid offline through a bank challan.
CG TET 2022 Admit Card
- The board will release admit card for those candidates who will submit the application form and fees before the last date.
- To download an admit card, candidates have to provide their registration ID and password.
- An admit card will consist of important information related to the date, time, and venue of the exam.
- It is compulsory for all candidates to reach the exam centre along with their admit card and one photo ID. Documents required at the time of the exam are as follows.
- An Admit Card (also carry two photographs if the photos on the admit card are not clear)
- Blue/ Black ball pen
- One photo ID proof original – Aadhar card, passport, driving license, pan card, voter ID card, Class 10th mark sheet.
- Candidates should keep the admit card safe even after the exam as it will be required later.

CG TET 2022 Answer Key
- The board will release answer keys online through the official website after the examination.
