The West Bengal Board of Primary Education will release the official notification for admission to 2-year D.EL.Ed. Course (Regular and Face to Face Mode).

Eligible candidates can apply for West Bengal D.EL.ED admission 2024 according to the schedule prescribed by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education. Candidates those have scored at least 50% marks in class 10th and 12th exams are only considered for admission. There will be 5% relaxation is marks for the reserved category students.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to 2-year D.EL.Ed must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The details of to West Bengal D.EL.Ed admission 2024 eligibility criteria are listed below:

• Interested candidate must have passed H.S.C or its equivalent examination with no less than 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ OBC-A/OBC-B /PH/ EX-Servicemen category).
• Aspirants should have studied the language at the H.S level as a necessary subject for which language of instruction they are going to apply.
• The 2nd language should be English.
• The upper age of candidate must not be exceeded over 35 years (40 years in case of candidates from SC/ OBC-A/ ST/OBC-B /PH).

Applicants seeking admission in 2- year D. EL. Ed. Course are needed to fill and submit the WB D.EL.Ed 2024 application form on or before the last date.  

It is expected that the application form for 2- year D. EL. Ed. Course admission will be available online at the West Bengal Board of Primary Education official website probably in the month of June 2024.

Eligible candidates can fill the application form via visiting the official website as per the schedule date. Candidates are advised to submit the duly filled in application form completed in all respects on or before the due date.

It should be noted that, the candidate’s name placed in the merit list does not guarantee admission. Candidate’s admission will be strictly depending upon the document verification with original certificate/document regarding the percentage of the marks, date of birth and reservation category.
