Kumaon University, Nainital is the authority that is responsible for conducting and managing USET 2022 examination. The aim of this exam is determination of eligibility for the post of assistant professor in the state of Karnataka. USET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is the responsibility of candidates to check and confirm that they meet the following eligibility criteria before filling the form.

• Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a UGC recognized institute with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for the candidates from reserved categories)
• Those candidates who are in the final year of their Master’s degree can also apply.
• There is no upper or lower age limit to appear for this examination.

USET 2022 Application Form

Those eligible candidates who want to apply need to submit the application form before the last date. The application process will take place online through the official website. Candidates may check the step by step process to submit the application form.

• First and foremost, you will have to visit the official website of Kumaun University.
• On the official website, you need to register by entering a few of your basic details like Name, Email Address, Phone Number, etc.
• The login credentials will be generated once the registration process gets over.
• Next, you need to sign in by entering the credentials generated during registration.
• Now, the main application form will display on your screen.
• In the main application form, you need to enter your complete academic, personal, and contact details.
• The details entered in the application form should be correct. Otherwise, the form can get rejected.
• Along with the details, it is also necessary for candidates to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
• In the next step, you need to pay the application fee as per your category.
• Finally, take a printout of the application form submitted and fee receipt for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fee is different for candidates from various categories.

• General – Rs. 1000/-
• OBC (NCL) – Rs. 600/-
• SC/ ST/ PWD – Rs. 600/-

Mode of payment – The application fee is accepted online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking. Apart from this, candidates can also pay the fee offline through a bank challan at any branch of SBI.

Admit Card

• The admit card will release once the application form submission process gets over.
•  To download the admit card, candidates will have to visit the official website and provide their registration details.
• An admit card will carry information like date, time, and venue of the examination.
• Authorities will not allow any candidate to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Along with the admit card, candidates must have a valid Photo ID proof in original such as Voter ID Card, PAN Card, etc.

Answer Key

• The university will publish the answer key on the official website soon after the exam.
• At first, the university will upload provisional answer keys. Candidates may use these answer keys to get a rough idea about the marks they are going to score in the exam.
• In case a candidate is not satisfied with the answer key then he/ she can challenge the same.
• The university will consider all challenges submitted and then release the final answer key.
• Remember, the result will be based on the final answer keys. It is not possible to challenge the final answer keys.

USET Result 2022

• The result will be declared online through the official website.
• To check the result, aspirants need to provide their roll numbers and other details.
• A candidate will be declared successful only if he/ she ranks in the top 6% candidates.
• The minimum qualifying marks for USET 2022 are as follows.
