AIBE 2022: Application Form, Exam Pattern, Exam Date
The candidates with LLB degree can apply for the AIBE 2022 exam in online mode. Those who qualify this exam will be awarded ‘Certificate of Practice’ by the Bar Council of India. It is mandatory for the candidates who have earned their law degree after the year 2010 to hold this certificate, if they wish to practice law. The exam will be conducted as open book test and will be held across different centers all over the country. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and the candidates can attempt as many times as they require to clear the exam.
The registration date for AIBE 16 has been extended till 15th July 2021.

The basic pattern of AIBE 2022 is given below:
- Mode of exam: Offline
- Medium of question paper: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, English, Hindi, Marathi, Oriya, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu

AIBE 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The AIBE 2022 eligibility criteria are mentioned below:
- Nationality: Indian national candidates are eligible to apply.
- Age limit: There is no age limit prescribed for AIBE.
- Number of attempts: There is no limit to the number of attempts.
- Educational qualification: The candidates who have completed their 3-year/ 5-year LLB degree are eligible to apply. No minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.
- Other requirements: The candidates should be enrolled as an advocate with a State Bar Council. An Advocate ID Card/ Enrollment Card issued by the State Bar Council is also mandatory.
AIBE 2022 Application Form
- The candidates can register online for AIBE 2022 exam by visiting the official website. The candidates will have to fill the registration form by providing their personal information.
- The candidates will also have to upload advocate identity card (if issued), enrollment certificate, photograph, signature, category certificate (if applicable) and disability certificate (if applicable). All the documents should be self-attested.
- A registration number and password will be sent to the registered email id after successful registration.
- Using this registration number and password, the candidates will have to login to their account to print the Challan.
- The candidates will have to visit any SBI branch after 24 hours of registration with the Challan to make the application fee submission. A copy of the Challan will be returned to the candidates.
- Again after 24 hours of fee submission, the candidates will have to login to their account to submit their Challan details.
- After that the candidates should click on the ‘application form’ button to take a printout of the form.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the application to the Bar Council of India.
Application fee:
The application fee will be Rs. 3560/- for the General/ OBC candidates and Rs 2560/- for SC/ ST candidates.
Note:
- If the candidates furnish any wrong information or upload any document incorrectly in the form, they can login to their account and make changes after fee submission. But this can be done only before documents and information are approved by the BCI. No login will be possible after BCI approval.
- The candidates can get the application rectified further by mailing the correction along with the registration number before the release of admit card.
Admit Card
- The admit card will be available for download around 1 week before the date of exam on the website www.allindiabarexamination.com.
- The candidates can download the admit card using their registration number and date of birth.
- The candidates must carry the admit card to the exam center on the day of exam.
- The candidates with disability or illness/ special needs are required to carry disability certificate/ medical prescription along with the admit card.
AIBE 2022 Result
- The AIBE exam result will be published on the official website of BCI and the candidates can check it using their registration number and date of birth.
- The result will consists of the name, course and category of the candidate and the state marks obtained and the ranking.
- The candidates not satisfied with the result that request for re-evaluation within 7 days from declaration of the result.
- The qualified candidates will be awarded Certificate of Practice will be able to practice law in India.
