Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test 2022 (AP EAMCET 2022) is a common entrance exam for admission into engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, and other courses. AP EAMCET has been replaced by AP EAPCET. The admissions through this exam will be offered in various universities and colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is an online exam to be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. It is being notified that the application form for AP EAMCET 2022 is available from 11th April 2022. The mode of application will be online and while the exam is going to be held on 4 to 8 July 2022 & 11 and 12 July 2022.

AP EAMCET 2022 Important Dates

The official dates for the exam are as follows:

AP EAMCET Application Form 2022

The AP EAMCET 2022 application form will be available in online mode through the official website i.e. www.sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet.

• To initiate the application process, the candidates need to pay the application fee.
• After the successful confirmation of application fee payment, the candidate should move on to the application form.
• In the application form, the candidates have to enter all the required personal, contact and educational details.
• Along with the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size colored photograph and signature.
• The format of the uploaded images should be jpg. The size of the uploaded photograph should be less than 30 KB and the size of the uploaded signature should be less than 15 KB.
• The candidate should take a printout of submitted application form for the future reference.

Application Fee

The application fee for the different streams will be as follows:

For Engineering stream (E): Rs. 500/-

For Agriculture and Medical Stream (AM): Rs. 500/-

For both Engineering and Agriculture & Medical (E & AM): Rs. 1000/-

Mode of payment

• The candidates can pay the application fee via online mode using a credit card, debit card or internet banking
• The application fee can also be paid in cash at AP Online Centre

Exam Pattern

• Mode of Exam: Online (Computer Based Test)
• Number of Questions: 160
• Type of Questions: Objective Type Multiple choice questions will be asked.
• Duration of Exam: 3 Hours
• Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark
• Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in the exam.
• Language of Exam: English and Telugu.

Note: In case any candidate wants to attempt the exam in the Urdu language then he/she will be allotted a test center at Kurnool only.

Preparation Strategy

The candidates may follow the tips and tricks given below in order to do well in the AP EAMCET 2022 exam.

• Firstly, you should make a proper timetable in such a way that ample time is allotted to the preparation of each subject.
• As you can see in the exam pattern, Mathematics/ Biology are the most important subjects. So, you should spend more time and energy in the Mathematics/ Biology as compared to the Physics or chemistry.
• Make short notes of all the important topics and formulas so that you can revise the important topics with ease.
• Keep track of your preparation by solving at least two previous year question papers and mock test weekly.

AP EAMCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The candidates should fulfill the eligibility criteria given below in order to appear for this exam.

Nationality

• The candidate must be an Indian national/ Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
• The aspirant must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana.

Educational Qualification

For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] courses:

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects as optional or related vocational subject in Engineering and Technology field.
• The candidates having a diploma in engineering can also apply.

Note: The candidate who will appear for the qualifying exam in the year 2022 can also apply.

For B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hort) and B.F.Sc. courses

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 exam with the relevant subjects
• The candidates appearing for the 10+2 exam in the year 2020 can also apply.

For B.Pharm

• The aspirant must have passed or appearing for the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects.

For Pharma- D

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB subject group.
• The aspirant having a diploma in pharmacy can also apply for AP EAMCET 2022.
• The candidate must have 45% aggregate marks (40% for the reserved category candidates) in the subjects specified in the qualifying exam
• The candidates appearing for the qualifying exam can also apply.

Age limit

• For B.Tech (Dairy Technology/ Ag. Engineering)/ FS & T) and B.Sc. (Agr. Engg): Between 17 to 22 years (17 to 25 for SC/ ST candidates)
• For B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hort) and B.F.Sc.: Between 17 to 22 years (17 to 25 for SC/ ST candidates)
• For B.Pharm course: More than 16 years on the day of admission.
• For Pharm-D course: More than 17 years on 31^st December 2022

Admit Card

• The candidate who will submit the application form along with the application fee before the last date will be able to download the Hall Ticket.
• In order to download hall ticket, the candidates have to visit the official website and provide the Registration number, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No and Date of Birth.
• The details regarding the AP EAMCET 2022 exam schedule and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
• No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

Result

• The authorities will declare the result in online mode through the official website.
• Before the declaration of result, the authorities will also upload the candidate’s response sheet.
• In order to view the result, the candidates have to enter Registration Number and AP EAMCET Hall ticket No.

Counselling

• The successful candidates can participate in the AP EAMCET counselling process.
• In the counselling process, the candidates have to enter their choice of courses and colleges as per their preferences.
• In addition to this, the candidates have to get their documents verified.
• The details along with the schedule of Counselling will be released on the official website after the declaration of result.
