AKTU 2022: Application Form, Exam Date, Syllabus
To get admission in Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), candidates need to appear for the UPCET entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency for various UG and PG courses offered by it. The application form will most probably be released in the last week of January 2022. Candidates should ensure that they fit the eligibility criteria defined by the authority in order to appear for the AKTU 2022 entrance exam. There will be a total of 11 papers to be held in the entrance exam.
Candidates need to appear for the paper for which they wish to pursue graduation/post graduation in. Candidates from all across the country can apply for the AKTU entrance exam but only those who are domicile of UP will be able to claim reservation. Through AKTU 2022, candidates can enroll themselves in programs such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, B.Des, BHMCT, BFAD, MBA, MCA etc.

UPSEE Application form 2022
The application form for AKTU 2022 entrance exam will only be released via online mode. Candidates need to visit the official website of the AKTU to fill the online form. Candidates should keep their educational and personal documents handy along with the scanned photograph and signature. The details in the application form must be filled correctly. However, in case candidates commit an error in the form, they will get a chance to rectify their mistake through the application correction window.
The application form will entail information such as- name, father’s name, gender, category, domicile, and educational qualification, address, to name a few. Before making the final submission of the application, candidates should review the details filled in the online form. They must pay the necessary application fee for the exam failing which their applications will be rejected by the authority.
Application fee
- General and OBC category candidates need to pay Rs. 1300/- as the application fee.
- Female/SC/ST/PH candidates must pay Rs. 650/- towards the application fee for the exam.
- Candidates can pay the application fee through net banking, credit card, E-Wallets and debit card.

The exam pattern for AKTU 2022 is given below-
- Exam mode: Offline (for paper 1, 2, 3, and 4) and Online (for remaining papers).

Syllabus
The syllabus of the UPSEE exam will vary according to the course and specialization in which a candidate is interested in pursuing his/her graduation or post graduation form. For UG courses, the syllabus will typically be based on the subjects taught at class 11th and class 12th level. And for PG courses, the syllabus will be based on the subject taught at graduation level. Candidates should prepare for the exam keeping in mind the syllabus stated by the authority.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the entrance exam are as follows-
Nationality: Indian nationals can apply for the entrance exam. Foreign nationals/PIO/CIWGC candidates will get admission as per the supernumerary seats available.
Age limit: There will be no age restrictions for the candidates wishing to enroll in UG and PG programs through AKTU 2020.
Educational qualification
- Tech/B.Des and MCA (Integrated): Candidates should have passed class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from a recognized board. They should have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
- Arch: Candidates should have passed class 12th with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Engineering Drawing/ Technical Vocational subject with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates).
- Pharma: Applicants should have completed class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject from a recognized board and have got at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
- MBA: Candidates should have passed 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university. They should also have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate.
- MCA: Candidates should have passed 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university and have scored at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates). A pass in Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level is mandatory.
- BFAD/BHMCT/BFA/MBA (Integrated): Candidates should have completed class 12th or any equivalent exam from a recognized board/university.
Admit card
- The admit card for UPSEE exam can be downloaded by visiting the official website of the AKTU.
- Only those candidates can download the hall tickets who have successfully submitted the application form on time.
- Candidates must bring the hall ticket along with a valid ID proof to the exam venue or else they won’t be allowed to take the exam.
- The printout copy of admit card should be kept safe till the admission process is completed.
Result and Counselling
- The authority will announce the result of AKTU 2022 via online mode.
- Candidates need to visit the official website of the AKTU to see their UPSEE result.
- The result will most probably be announced in the 1st week of June 2022.
- A merit list will also be published on the website indicated the names or roll no. of the candidates selected for counselling process.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called to attend the counselling where they need to indicate their choice of preference of course, branch and college.
- The authority will then allot a seat to the candidates based on the marks secured by them in the entrance exam.
- Applicants will also undergo the document verification phase where all their original educational documents will be thoroughly verified by the authorities.
