AP PGECET 2024: Application Form, Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria
Selection of the candidates into different post graduate courses offered by the institute of Andhra Pradesh will be done on the basis of their performance in AP PGECET 2024. Selected candidates will be offered enrollment into the ME, M.Tech and M.Pharma courses. The exam will be conducted at a state level and interested candidates can apply for the same in online mode. The application form might release in May 2024 and the exam is suppose to be held in July 2024. Those who meet all the eligibility requirements for admission can submit their application form.

AP PGECET 2024 Important Notice
- The Aadhaar card number of the candidate is mandatory for the registration process.
- Applicants must take care while selecting the subject paper for the test as any request in this regard will not be entertained.
- Candidates who wish to appear for more than one test paper at AP PGECET shall register for all the papers in the same application only and pay the amount displayed.
- While filling up the seats, first preference will be given to the GATE/ GPAT and the remaining seats will be filled with the AP PGECET qualified candidates.
- Each of the universities has different course-wise eligibility criteria for admission and the candidates must carefully go through them before applying.

Eligibility Criteria for AP PGECET 2024
The following eligibility criteria need to be fulfilled by the candidates aspiring for AP PGECET 2024:
- Nationality: Candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.
- Domicile: They should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements.
- Qualification: The candidates with a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category candidates) are eligible. Candidates in the final year of their bachelor’s degree course can apply too given that they will clear the exam with the said marks on or before the date of counseling.
AP PGECET Application Form 2024
The application form for AP PGECET 2024 has been released in online mode. Candidates can obtain the application form by visiting the official website www.sche.ap.gov.in/pgecet. The candidates will be able to fill their application form after the submission of the application fee.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details such as name, gender, date of birth, qualifying exam passing status, marks obtained, etc.
- Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature also need to be uploaded in the application form.
- Care must be taken to provide only accurate and genuine data into the application or it might get rejected.
- After all the details are entered into the form, the candidates can submit it online.
- A printout of the duly filled and submitted application form should be taken and kept safe for future use.
Application fee:
- Application fee for AP PGECET 2024 will be Rs. 1000 for OC/ BC candidates and Rs. 500/- for SC/ ST candidates.
- The payment of application fee can be done online through AP Online services or through payment gateway using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
Admit Card
- The admit card to appear in the entrance test will be made available on the official website.
- Candidates should download their admit card and take its printout on a plain paper.
- Printout of the admit card along with a valid identity proof should be carried to the exam center or else the candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
- Admit card must be kept safe and presented at the time of counseling and admission, if asked.
- Kindly note that no candidate will receive their admit card through any mode other than online.
Result
- The AP PGECET result will be announced hopefully in the month of May 2024 in online mode.
- Candidates who obtain more than the specified minimum marks will be declared as qualified.
- Ranking will be provided to the candidates who qualify their entrance exam on the basis of the marks obtained.
- Based on the ranking of the candidates, they will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
Counselling
- The shortlisted candidates will have to attend the counseling round as per the schedule intimated to them via the official website.
- During counseling, the candidates will be asked to provide their choice for course and institute in which they seek admission.
- Original documents of the candidates will also be verified at the time of reporting for counseling.
- After successful document verification, seats will be allotted to the candidates the merit-cum-preference basis.
- Those who fail to take admission in the allotted institute will forfeit their seats and lose their candidature.
