Assam ITI Admission 2022: Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern, Dates

Applications for Assam ITI Admission 2022 will be invited the interested candidates starting from the month of June. The candidates of Assam who wish to get admissions into different ITIs of the state can submit their application in online mode. However, the candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the admission process. The admission will be offered on the basis of merit of the candidates in their qualifying exam. A ranking list will be drawn and the candidates who met all the criteria required for enrollment will be granted final admissions.

Application Form

The application form for Assam ITI admission 2022 will be released in online mode on the official website.
The candidates will have to provide their important personal details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, etc and educational details such as year of passing qualifying exam, marks scored, board/ university name, etc into the application form.
The candidates must only provide true and correct details in the application form as incorrect form will be rejected and the candidature of applicants’ will be cancelled.
After providing the information correctly into the application form, the candidates will have to submit it.
The candidates should keep a copy of the application form along with them for future use.

Eligibility Criteria for Assam ITI Admission 2022

The eligibility criteria for different courses in which ITI admissions will be granted as mentioned below:-

Age criteria: The minimum age of the candidates should be 14 years as on 1^st August 2022.

Domicile: Only the candidates who are a permanent resident if the state of Assam are eligible to apply.

Physical fitness: The candidates must be physically fit to carry out the work related to their trade of choice.

Qualification criteria:

Dress Making	The candidates should have passed their class 10^th examination.
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant (English), Secretarial Practice (English), Basic Cosmetology, Plumber, Fashion Design & Technology, Desktop Publishing (DTP) Operator, Old age Care, Multimedia, Animation and Special effect, Welder, Photographer
BLTT (Bodo Language Transcription Trade)
COE sector (BBBT modules), Plastic Processing Sector, Fabrication (Fitting & Welding) Sector, Construction & Wood Working Sector, Information Technology Sector
Mechanic Diesel Engine, Pump Operator cum mechanic, Plastic Processing Operator, Surveyor, Mechanic Tractor, Soil Testing and Crop Technician	A pass in class 10^th exam or its equivalent with Science & Mathematics is required.
Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Electrician, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Information Communication Technology System Maintenance, Mechanic Refrigeration & Air conditioner, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument mechanic, Draughtsman Civil, Draughtsman Mechanical, Mechanic Agricultural machinery, Mechanic Auto Body Painting, Mechanic Auto Body Repair, Maintenance Mechanic Chemical Plant
Wireman	Those who have passed their class 8^th exam are eligible for admissions.
Sewing Technology, Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery)

Note: A pass in the subject of English at qualifying exam level is also mandatory for all candidates.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit, i.e., on the basis of marks score obtained by them in their qualifying exam (class 10^th or 8^th as applicable).
A rank list of the candidates who have applied for admissions will be prepared and released on the official website.
The candidates will be able to provide the choice for the institute and trade specialization through e-counseling.
On the basis of the choices made by the candidates and their ranking, seat allotment will be done.
After this, the seat allotment letter will be made available on the website.
The candidates should download their allotment letter and visit the allotted ITI along with it to complete the admission formalities.
The differently abled candidates will be given admissions only if they produce trade suitability certificate issued from the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre (VRC) for handicapped, ITI Guwahati campus, Gopinath Nagar, Guwahati- 16.
