Admissions into ITI colleges of Bihar will be given on the basis of performance in the entrance test, Bihar ITICAT 2022. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to submit their application form from 6th April 2022. Candidates qualifying this entrance test will be provided enrolment into various trades and institutes as per their choice and merit. The exam will be conducted on 29th May 2022. Major Highlights of Bihar ITI 2022

The process of application is completely online and the candidates are suggested not to send hard copy of the form to the board’s office.
Application fee submission can be done in both online as well as offline mode.
Application fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Candidates appearing in their 10^th exam in the year 2022 are also eligible to apply given they will clear the exam before the counseling process.
No admit card will be sent to the candidates through any means other than online.
The candidates who fail to report for exam, counseling or admission will lose their candidature and no request in this regard will be entertained.

Bihar ITI Exam Pattern 2022

The overview of the Bihar ITICAT 2022 exam pattern is given below:

Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility for Bihar ITI Admission 2022 is given below:

Domicile	The candidates must meet the local/ non-local status requirement of the Bihar state.
Age limit	Minimum age of the candidates as on 1^st August 2020 should be 14 years (17 years for Mechanic Tractor & Motor Vehicle).
Academic criteria	Applicants should have passed their class 10^th or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Science and Mathematics are mandatory at 10^th level for the candidates applying for engineering trades.
Physical standards	The applicants should be physically and mentally fit to be eligible for admission.

Bihar ITI Application Form 2022

Bihar ITICAT application form 2022 has been released online on the official website of BCECEB bceceboard.com. The interested and eligible candidates will be able fill and submit their online application on or before the specified last date.

At first, the candidates will have to fill a registration form to obtain registration number and password.
Using the generated registration number and password, the candidates will be able to fill their application form.
In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal and academic details.
Scanned copies of candidate’s photograph and signature should also be uploaded in the application form.
Once all the details are entered correctly into the application form, the candidates can submit it online.
In case of any error in the submitted application, the candidates will be able to make the correction during the given time period.
A printout of the filled and submitted application form should be kept by the candidates for future reference.

Application fee:

· To complete the process of application, the candidates will also have to pay a specified amount of application fee.

For general and OBC category candidates, the application fee will be Rs. 750/- and for SC/ ST candidates is Rs. 100/-.
Application fee for PWD category candidates will be Rs. 430/-.
Payment of application fee can be done via debit card/ credit card or net banking or through bank challan.

Admit Card

· The candidates will be able to download the admit card for the admission test form the BCECEB website.

Admit card can be downloaded using the registration number and password of the candidates.
After downloading, the candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center.
Candidates who do not carry the admit card to the exam center will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Details of the exam center and schedule will be communicated to the candidates via the admit card itself.

Result

The result of the entrance exam will be declared online. Candidates will be able to check the result by visiting the official website of BCECEB.
Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, a merit list will be prepared.
The list will be prepared in the order of ranking and any tie will be resolved as per the applicable rules.
Process of counseling and admission will be carried out according to the names of the candidates in the merit list.

Counseling

Candidates who names appear in the merit list will be invited to take part in the counseling process.
The details of the counseling process will be intimated to the candidates through official website.
At the time of counseling, the candidates will be allowed to provide the choice for trade and institute in which they seek admission.
Based on their merit and choice provided, seats will be allotted to the candidates.
Documents and eligibility of the candidates will also be verified at the time of counseling.
Candidates who successfully clear the verification round will be granted final admission.
