BITSAT 2022: Application Form, Dates, Exam pattern, Syllabus
BITSAT 2022 is an online computer based test to select the candidates for admission in integrated first-degree programmes offered by Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS). Admission will be granted for the campuses located in Pilani (Rajasthan), Goa, and Hyderabad. Through the exam, candidates can enroll themselves in various disciplines of the integrated programmes such as B.E, B.Pharma, and M.Sc. Candidates can apply for the exam via online mode only. The application form of BITSAT 2022 will tentatively be made available in the month of December 2021. Before filling the application form, candidates should ensure their eligibility status. The first rank holder of the central board or state board will be given direct admission in their choice of course.

The candidates who join in M.Sc. programme are eligible to apply for dual degree in Engineering at BITS Pilani after completion of one year. This assignment is made by competition on their performance at BITS at the end of first year.

BITSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2022 exam is provided below-
For all programmes (except for B.Pharma): Candidates should have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board with minimum 75% marks in PCM/PCB subject group. They should have scored minimum 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects.
For B.Pharma: Applicants should have passed class 12th examination from a recognized board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and adequate proficiency in English language. Those with PCM as subjects can also apply for B.Pharma. Students should have scored at least 75% aggregate marks in PCB/M subject group with minimum 60% marks in each subjects.
Note: Students appearing in class 12th can also apply for the entrance test.
BITSAT 2022 Application Form
Candidates can register their names for the exam by applying in the prescribed application form. The form will most probably be available in the 3rd week of December 2021. Candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered at three Indian campuses of BITS. They should fill and submit the form on or before the due date prescribed by the authority. They must fill their personal details, academic details and other relevant details with extreme care.
The details in the application form cannot be changed once the correction window is closed. While filling the online application form, candidates should keep all their documents, scanned photograph and signature ready to upload. It is mandatory for the applicants to pay the requisite amount of application fee for the exam or else their form will be rejected by the authority.
Note: A candidate can apply online only once for BITSAT 2022. However, if a candidate completes the application form along with fee but discovers any mistake in the form submitted by him/her, he/she can edit the required fields in the online application during the given timeline announced by the concered authority. No Email queries regarding corrections will be entertained for security and privacy reasons. Candidate has to go online and make changes to his or her application during this period. No further changes can be made to the application.
Application Fee
The application fee to be paid by the male candidates is Rs. 3400/-. Female candidates need to pay Rs. 2900/- as the necessary application fee and those who have opted for exam center as Dubai must pay Rs. 7000/-. The fee can be paid via online mode i.e. credit card/debit card/net banking.

How to prepare for BITSAT 2022?
Candidates can prepare for the exam keeping in mind the useful tips given below-
- Make a practical time table that can be followed easily. Don’t waste time in putting unrealistic goals that you can’t achieve in a day or two.
- Prepare short notes for fast revision.
- Collect the study material from the reliable sources only.
- Study strictly according to the syllabus prescribed by the authority.
- Solve previous year papers for practice. Solve test series/mock tests for better results.
- Don’t neglect revision under any circumstances. The whole syllabus should be revised at least twice before you appear for the exam.

BITSAT 2022 Admit card
Candidates can download the hall ticket for the admission test by visiting the official website of the BITSAT 2022. The admit card should be printed out and kept safe for future purpose. It is compulsory for the applicants to bring the hall ticket to the exam hall without which they won’t be allowed to take the test. The admit card will bear all the necessary details such as candidate’s name, category, exam venue, exam time, exam date etc. Applicants can inform the authority if any discrepancy is found in the admit card.
BITSAT 2022 Result and Admission
BITSAT 2022 answer key: BITS Pilani does not release official answer key for candidates who took part in the exam. Instead, they release result of successful candidates.
The result will be displayed right after the exam. Candidates can check the number of questions they have marked right or wrong on the computer screen. The test scores will be made available on the official website of the BITSAT 2022 i.e. www.bitsadmission.com the next day of the exam. After qualifying the test, students will have to provide their details for admission. Candidates can also apply based on the marks secured in class 12th examination and give their preference at the time of form filling. The authority will then prepare an admit list of the candidates who have been selected for admission.
