State Bank of India (SBI) will announce the result of SBI PO prelims in the month of July 2024. Based on marks obtained by candidates in four sections i.e. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability in prelims exam, candidates will be shortlisted for mains exam. The marks scored in the prelims examination will not be considered while determining the final result. However, applicants have to clear prelims examination of SBI PO exam to appear for next round of selection i.e. SBI PO mains exam for Probationary Officers at SBI. Candidates who will qualify the SBI PO preliminary as per the minimum prescribed SBI PO cutoff will be considered eligible to appear for SBI PO mains examination.

SBI PO Result for Mains examination

The conducting body i.e. State Bank of India will declare the SBI PO mains result in the month of August 2024 tentatively. The result of mains exam will be prepared on basis of candidate’s marks scored in objective type test including four sections i.e. Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General / Economy / Banking Awareness, Data Analysis & Interpretation and English Language. There will also be a descriptive type test for a total of 50 marks. Applicants have to score minimum qualifying marks in SBI PO mains descriptive paper as decided by the exam conducting authority during SBI PO mains result announcement.
