NTA conducts the Common Management Admission Test for shortlisting candidates for admission to various management schools across the country. Interested candidates who want to appear for this exam can fill and submit their application form. The admit card has been released online on 6th April 2022, while the date of conducting CMAT 2022 entrance exam is 9th April 2022. CMAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in CMAT 2022 are provided below:

• The candidates should belong to Indian nationality.
• An undergraduate degree in any stream from a recognized university is required.
• Candidates who will appear in their final exam in the year 2022 who will clear the exam before the commencement of admission process can apply too.
• There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT 2022.

CMAT Application Form 2022

The application form for CMAT 2022 will be released in online mode and can be obtained by visiting the official website of NTA www.cmat.nta.nic.in. Candidates are suggested to read the information brochure carefully before they proceed with the application process.

• In the application form, basic personal details of the candidates such as name, father’s name, age, gender, phone number, email id, etc will be asked.
• Academic details such as qualifying exam passing year, marks obtained, university name, etc will also be asked in the application form.
• An application number will be generated after these details are entered in the form that should be noted by the candidates.
• The candidates need to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the application form as well.
• After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates can then proceed with its online submission.
• Candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page generated after submission of application form and keep it safe with time for future reference.

CMAT 2022 Exam Pattern

The basic overview of the CMAT exam pattern 2022 is provided below:

• Duration of exam: 3 hours
• Exam mode: Online
• Medium of test: English
• Number of questions: 100
• Type of questions: Multiple-choice questions
• Total marks: 400
• Marking scheme: 4 marks will be given to the candidates for every right response.
• Negative marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong response.

CMAT Admit Card 2022

• Online admit card to appear in CMAT will be released around one month before the date of test.
• Candidates can download the admit card from the website of NTA by entering their application number.
• The candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it with them while reporting for the exam.
• Applicants should not damage or lose their admit card as no duplicate card will be issued at any later stage.
• In order to protect the admit card, it is advised that the candidates keep multiple printouts of the same.

CMAT 2022 Answer Key

• NTA will release the answer key and question paper attempted by the candidates on its official website.
• The candidates who find any kind of discrepancy in the answer key can challenge it by submitting an online application form.
• An amount of INR 1000 per question will also be charged that can be paid online using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
• NTA will look into the grievance obtained and will prepare a final answer key draft. Results will be declared on the basis of final answer key.

CMAT Result 2022

• NTA will declare the result of the admission test online on the official website cmat.nta.nic.in.
• Using their roll number, the candidates can check their result and download their score card.
• The result is expected to be announced in the month of February 2022.
• Further round of admission will be conducted as per the performance of the candidates in the exam.

CMAT 2022 Selection Process

• Candidates who clear the exam need to apply for admission to the participating institute on the basis of CMAT score.
• Each institute has its own eligibility criteria that should be checked by the candidates before applying.
• Registered candidates will then be invited to participate in the selection process which may comprise of group discussion and interview round.
• Once all these rounds are completed successfully, final admission will be granted to the candidates after verification of eligibility and documents.

CMAT FAQs

What if my payment status is not showing OK even after application fee is submitted?

If the fee is paid and status is not showing OK, it means the transaction is cancelled. The amount will automatically be refunded to concerned bank account within 15 days. Candidates are required to pay the fee once again and ensure the OK fee status.

How can I provide my choice for exam city?

The city for examination can be chosen by the applicants after submission of examination fees. NTA will allocate an exam center in the chosen city, which will be displayed in the admit card.

Can I ask for revaluation of my CMAT 2022 score?

There shall be no provision for revaluation or rechecking of the score. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

What are Test Practice Centers (TPC)?

National Testing Agency has established a network of Test Practice Centers spread all over India to help the students aspiring to appear in examinations to be conducted by the NTA. The students can practice and train themselves before the exam to get an idea of Computer Based Test.

What documents do I need to carry at the examination center?

Candidates must bring the following documents on the day of examination at the test center. Those who do not bring these will not be allowed to sit in the examination.

1. Print copy of admit card downloaded from NTA’s website.
2. One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) for pasting on the specific space in the attendance sheet
3. Any one of the authorized photo IDs (original, valid and non-expired)– PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photograph)/ Ration Card
4. PWD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under PWD category
