Eligibility criteria

Candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying B.Tech admission. The eligibility criteria for Dibrugarh University B. Tech Admission 2022 are as follows:

Eligibility for first Semester B.Tech Programme

• Aspirants should be a citizen of India with a permanent resident certificate of Assam (JEE-2021 (Mains) qualified candidates are exempted from this provision)
• Interested applicants should have clear qualifying examination with the subject of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics scoring at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC category and 40% in case of ST applicants).
• Applicants should appear in CEE-2022 (Engineering) or JEE-2022 (Mains)
• The upper age limit age of the candidate should not be more than 21
• The minimum age limit is 17 years
• Applicants should be physically and mentally fit.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech lateral entry course

Applicants must possess a 3- year diploma course in any branch of engineering and technology from State Council of Technical Education, Assam or its equivalent board.

Or

They must possess three years duration B.Sc degree with no less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

• The eligible and interested candidates can apply for Dibrugarh University B. Tech Admission 2022 online after the official release of notification. For online application process, candidates need to visit the Dibrugarh University official website at www.dibru.ac.in
• Most probably, the online registration process will be commenced in the month of June 2022.
• Candidates are advised to fill all the required details in the application form carefully and correctly.
• Submit the duly filled in application form on or before the due date.
• Candidates have to deposit Rs 1000/- as necessary application fee through online payment gateway via using Credit Card/Debit Card/ Internet Banking. Selection of candidates for admission to first-semester B.Tech course will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Assam CEE and JEE Main.
