No matter you have completed class 12th in Science, Commerce or Arts stream, you are eligible to enroll yourself for ANM program. It is a three and half year diploma programme which also includes a 6-months internship. Admissions are based on candidates’ performance in the entrance test, however there are few colleges which also admit students based on merit in the qualifying exam.
GNM application forms are released every year by respective authorities and eligible students are required to submit their applications before the intimated deadline. No application would be accepted once the deadline is over.

Eligibility for GNM Nursing
There are certain eligibility criteria that a candidate must meet to become eligible for GNM Nursing admission 2024. We have shared below the minimum eligibility to enroll for GNM course.
Candidates those have passed class 12th exam with English with 40% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam from a recognized board or National Institute of Open School (NIOS). Students who have passed class 12th in Science stream will be given preference.
Candidate should be a registered ANM fulfilling the required criteria.
GNM 2024 Admission Process
Admission to GNM program is usually offered based on students’ performance in the entrance test. However, there are certain colleges that also accept students based on their merit in the qualifying exam.
Admission Based on Merit
- After the admission notification is released, eligible candidates must apply before the intimated deadline.
- After registration, a unique application ID will be generated.
- Further, you need to login using the same application ID and upload class 10th and class 12th marks sheets.
- Your application process will be considered successful after you make payment of application fee.
- Later, the college will issue a merit list based on candidates’ performance in the qualifying exam.
- After the verification of documents, the seat allotment process will be concluded.
Admission Based on Entrance Test
- Candidates are required to apply for the entrance exam before the given deadline. Please fill up your application form without committing any mistakes. Incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.
- Appear for the entrance exam and score beyond the prescribed cut off.
- The concerned authority will release a merit list based on candidates’ performance in the entrance test.
- Appear for the counselling round and complete all admission-related formalities.
