The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmshala, Himachal will be soon inviting the applicants for Himachal Pradesh ITI admission 2024. Candidates interested in pursuing different engineering and non-engineering courses offered by the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) need to fill the application form.

The authority may release HP ITI 2024 application in July 2024. Before heading to the online form, candidates are required to check their eligibility status for admission in the concerned trade.

Himachal Pradesh ITI Admission 2024 Overview

1. Through HP ITI admission, candidates can enroll themselves in the programs offered by the government and private industrial training institutes in the state.
2. Candidates must possess a valid email address and contact number to register for counselling. The authority will communicate to them via these mediums in the future.
3. Only one application form should be submitted by the candidates for admission in trades offered by ITIs in the state.
4. Fee once deposited is non-refundable. No representation/ request for refund of application fees will be entertained if the candidate fails to apply within the stipulated time after payment of application fee.
5. Admission in ITI trades will be offered through the counselling which will be conducted in three rounds. Seats remain vacant after that shall be filled by spot-counselling.

HP ITI 2024 Application form

To fill the application form for Himachal Pradesh ITI admission 2024, candidates need to visit the official website of Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board. They need to keep their documents ready along with the scanned photograph and signature. The form will ask for details such as name, email id, contact number, educational details and other relevant details.

Candidates need to fill their details very carefully as no correction window will be provided to them once the form is submitted successfully. If at any stage, the information provided by the candidates is found to be misleading then such candidates will not be considered for admission and their applications will be rejected by the authority. Incomplete or applications received without the application fee will be rejected by the authority. The hardcopy of application form need not be sent to the authority.

Application fee

• Candidates from General category need to pay Rs. 350/- as the application fee.
• Those from the SC/ST/OBC categories are required to pay Rs. 250/- for the same.
• Payment of the application fee through credit card, debit card, net banking and E-Challan.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can ensure their eligibility status for ITI admission in HP with the help of criteria mentioned below-

Age criteria: Candidates must be at least 14 years old as on 1^st August 2024. No upper age limit is defined for HP ITI admission 2024.

Educational qualification

• Carpenter/ Civil engineering assistant/ Draughtsman/ Electrician/ Fitter/ IT/ Machinist/ Mason/ Mechanic computer hardware/ Plumber/ Painter/ Surveyor: Candidates should have passed class 10^th exam under 10+2 system of education with Science and Mathematics or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Basic cosmetology/ Computer operator and programming assistant/ Digital photographer/ Desktop publishing operator/ Fashion design technology: Pass in matric under 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Fruit and vegetable processor: Passed in class 10^th with science as one of the subjects from a recognized board.
• Dress making: Candidates should have passed in matric with Hindi or equivalent (Pass in Hindi is Compulsory) from a recognized board.

Admission Procedure and Counselling

• The authority will draw a merit list based on the marks scored by the candidates in the concerned qualifying examination.
• Candidates selected as per the merit list will be invited to attend the online counselling where they need to indicate their choice of preference of course and institute.
• Candidates from other states can apply for admission from the 3^rd round of counselling onwards. If seat remains vacant after 3^rd round of counselling, then admission will be offered to the candidates based on the spot counselling conducted by the department.
• Based on the choices filled by the candidates, authority will allocate a seat to them. Candidates will be provided with an allotment letter.
• Applicants then need to report to the concerned allotted ITI to complete the admission related formalities.
