IRGUA stands for Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi. It is an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation Govt. of India). The academy offers CPL Course for issuance of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Those students who want to be a pilot can opt for this course. The candidates are selected on the basis of the IRGUA 2022 exam followed by an interview and Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test. IRGUA 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria.

Age Limit

• The age of a candidate should be more than 17 years at the time of joining the course.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Physics and Maths. Apart from this, candidates must have  passed English with 50% marks at 10+2 or equivalent. Students from SC/ ST categories need only 45% marks.

Note: Candidates can also choose the B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree course. The course will be conducted simultaneously with the CPL Course. The duration of this course will be 3 years.

IRGUA 2022 Application Form 

The application process of IRGUA 2022 will take place online. Those eligible candidates who want to apply need to submit the prescribed application form before the last date. No other mode of application form submission is accepted by the authorities. Given below are the steps by which you can apply with ease.

• First and foremost, you need to visit the official website of the academic i.e. www.igrua.gov.in.
• You may access the main application form online by opening the “IGRUA Entrance” tab.
• In the main application form, you need to provide your complete educational, personal, and contact detail.
• Please note that a candidate needs to have a valid phone number and email address in order to apply.
• The details entered in the application form should be absolutely correct. Please note that incorrect application forms will be summarily rejected.
• Apart from the details, it is necessary for all candidates to upload scanned images of their signature and photograph.
• Along with the application form, aspirants are required to pay the fee.
• Don’t forget to take a printout of the application form submitted and fee receipt for future reference.

The application fee is different for candidates from various categories as given below.

• General Candidates – Rs. 12000/-
• OBC Candidates – Rs. 12000/-
• EWS Candidates – Rs. 12000/-
• SC/ ST Candidates – Nil

Mode of payment – Aspirants can pay the fee either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or through Bank Challan payable at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI)

IRGUA 2022 Admit Card

• The admit card for the IRGUA Entrance Exam 2022 will release online through the academy’s official website.
• To download the admit card, candidates will have to provide their registration details.
• The details about the date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• Along with the admit card, it is necessary for candidates to carry a photo ID proof at the time of the exam.
• Please note that admit cards will serve as a valid identity for attending Interview / Aptitude test and must be preserved till joining.

IRGUA 2022 Result 

• The result of the IRGUA 2022 examination will release in online mode only.
• To check the result, aspirants will have to provide their roll number and registration details.
• The result card will carry information about the subject-wise and total marks secured by candidates in the test.
• Those candidates who will score more than cut-off marks will be invited to take part in the interview.

IRGUA 2022 Interview/ Viva

• Only those successful candidates will be invited to the interview process who will clear the entrance exam.
• During the interview process, examiners will try to judge the overall intelligence of a candidate.
• The documents will also be verified during the interview.
• All candidates need to carry the following documents at the time of the interview.
  • Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )

• After clearing the interview, candidates will have to clear the Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test.

Answer: The training fee is Rs. 45 Lacs payable in four quarterly installments in one year.
