Jharkhand ITI Admission 2021 is managed by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). The admissions in various government/private ITI institutes in Jharkhand states carried out based on the marks obtained by the applicants in the qualifying examination. The Board does not schedule any entrance examination for the selection of eligible applicants for ITI courses now.

The applicants who are interested in ITI admissions in various government/private institutes must have apply as per the schedule. The JCECEB will publish the Jharkhand ITI admission 2021 notification in the official website in the month of April 2021 (tentatively). Jharkhand ITI Admission 2021 Application Form

The interested applicants can apply either through online or offline mode for Jharkhand ITI 2021. The applicants can check the online & offline application procedure given below.

Online application procedure

• The application forms for Jharkhand ITI 2021 will be available at the official website of JCECEB.
• In the official website, the applicants have to click on “Online Application Form Submission for Admission in ITI in 2021” link available at the home page.
• Now you have to fill all the required details in the application form.
• You should be ready with your 8^th /10^th standard mark sheet, scanned photograph, signature & left thumb impression before you start with online application procedure.
• You need to upload the scanned images at the space provided during application form procedure.
• You also have to pay the application fee to complete the application procedure.
• It is not required to send hard copy of your application form in online application procedure.

Offline application procedure

In offline mode, the applicants have to login to the official website of the Board & download the application form.

• Once you download the form, fill all the required details genuinely & paste your recent passport size photograph.
• Payment of application fee is very important to confirm your candidature. You can pay application fee through Demand Draft in favour of “Controller of Examination, JCECEB”.
• Now you have to send completely filled application form to the “Controller of Examination, JCECEB, Science & Technology Campus, Sirkha Toli, Naamkum, Ranchi-834010, Jharkhand” via speed/registered post.
• The applicants have to write on envelop “Application for registration in Induatrial Training Institute 2018-19 sessions”.

Application Fee

The application fee can be paid through debit card/credit card/ net banking. The application fee can also be paid through Demand Draft.

• General/OBC applicants- Rs. 650/-
• SC/ST/All women applicants- Rs. 325/-

Important Dates (Tentative)

• Application forms will be available- From May 2021
• Closing date for application forms- 3rd Week of May 2021
• Publication of merit list- June 2021
• 1^st round of counseling- June 2021
• 2^nd round of counseling- July 2021

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants who wish to apply for Jharkhand ITI Admission 2021, must have fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria may vary for different courses. Hence the applicants are advised to check course-wise eligibility criteria to apply for various courses.

• Domicile– The applicants should be a resident of Jharkhand.
• Academic qualification- The applicants should have qualified 8^th standard to get admission in Welder, Carpenter, Metion (Building Constructor), Sheet Metal Worker & Wireman Trades.

To get admission in other trades apart from above mentioned trades, the applicants should have qualified 10^th standard from any Board/Institute recognized by State/Central Govt.

• Physical standard– The applicants needs to be physically fit & also have to submit health certificate.
• Age limitation– The applicants must have aged between 14 to 40 years as on 1^st July 2021.

The upper age limitation for widows of martyrs is 45 years.

Jharkhand ITI Admission 2021 Admission procedure

• The JCECEB will publish the merit list based on 8^th / 10^th standard marks.
• The admissions in any ITI course in govt./private college will strictly be made on merit basis.
• The merit list will be declared in the official website of the Board after analyzing all the applications.
• Hence, the application will be called for counseling according to merit list.

There are some reserved quotas for admission according to the government rules. These are as follows-

• The applicants of reserved category will get reservation according to the existing rules.
• If a reserved category applicant scored high merit then the selection will not happen reserved quota.
• The applications seeking for reservation, need to submit their valid caste certificate during counseling.
• Physically handicapped or disabled applicants can also seek reservation (provided they also have to submit a valid certificate.
• There are few seats reserved under soldier reservation quota as follows-
• Children of Ex-Servicemen
• Children of serving soldier
• Widows of Martyrs.
• Children of soldier who got bravery awards.
• The children of physically disabled soldier.
• Children of soldier who sacrificed their lives during peace time etc.
