JIPMER PG 2022: Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Application Form
To select the candidates for admissions into MD/ MS courses offered by the JIPMER institute, JIPMER PG 2022 entrance exam will be conducted. The exam is held twice a year in the month of December (for January session) and in May (for July session). The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam in online mode. JIPMER PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The following eligibility criteria should be fulfilled by the candidates preparing for JIPMER PG 2022:
- The candidates of Indian nationality and Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply.
- An MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by the MCI is required.
- The applicants should have scored a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ ST candidates) marks in aggregate of their MBBS exam.
- Those appearing in the final year exam of their MBBS degree course in the year 2020 are also considered eligible.
JIPMER PG 2022 Application Form
The candidates who wish to get admissions into the PG courses offered by JIPMER will have to submit their applications first. The interested candidates can fill and submit their JIPMER PG 2022 application form in online mode only. The form will be made available on the official website www.jipmer.puducherry.gov.in/ www.jipmer.edu.in.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and educational information such as name, gender, date of birth, qualifying exam details, etc.
- The candidates will also have to upload their photograph and signature in scanned format.
- After providing all the details into the application form, the candidates can submit their form along with the application fee.
- The submission of the form must be done on or before the last date.
- The candidates should also keep a printout of the application form in case of future reference.
Application fee:
The application fee payment can be done through online mode using net banking/ debit card/ credit card. The category-wise application fee for JIPMER entrance exam is given below:

The JIPMER PG 2022 syllabus will cover the topics studied by the candidates at their MBBS level course. The major topics for the exam are given below:
- Basic Clinical Sciences: Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine & Toxicology and Pathology
- Clinical Sciences: Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Medicine, Orthopedics, ENT, Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Surgery, Radio-diagnosis, Radio-therapy, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Blood Transfusion Medicine
JIPMER PG Admit Card 2022
- In order to appear for the entrance exam, the candidates must carry their admit card.
- The admit card will be released online on the official website of JIPMER.
- The candidates will be able to download the admit card using their login credentials.
- The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.
- No candidate will be permitted to appear in the examination without a valid admit card and an identity proof.
JIPMER PG Result
- The result of the JIPMER PG 2022 exam will be declared in online mode on the official JIPMER website.
- The list of candidates who qualify for counselling to the MD/ MS course will be published on the website.
- The marks or percentile scores of individual candidate will also be released.
- On the basis of marks obtained, overall as well as category-wise merit list will be prepared.
- Requests for re-evaluation/ re-checking will not be entertained under any circumstances.
JIPMER PG 2022 Counseling
- Candidates will be invited to take part in the counseling process in the order of their merit.
- The details of the counseling will be provided to the candidates only through the official website and no individual letters will be sent.
- The candidate should report to the counseling venue as per the schedule mentioned on the official website.
- The candidates must carry all their original documents and their photocopies at the time of counseling.
- After verification of documents and eligibility, the candidates will be granted final admissions.
