Karnataka TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
It is extremely important for all candidates to check the eligibility criteria very carefully before submitting the application form. The eligibility criteria that every candidate should meet are given below.
Paper – I (Class 1st and 5th)
Aspirants must meet any one of the following criteria
- 10+2 or equivalent passed with a minimum of 50% marks along with passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or
- 10+2 or equivalent passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- Senior secondary (10+2) or equivalent passed with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Candidates must be graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Paper – II (Class 6th to 8th)
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Or
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Or
- 10+2 or equivalent passed with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Or
- 10+2 or equivalent passed with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed. Or
- Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in Final-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
Karnataka TET 2022 Application Form
The board will release Karnataka TET application form 2022 in online mode only. Those interested and eligible candidates who want to apply may access the application form by visiting the official website. Complete details of the application process are given in the table below.
- To start the application process, aspirants have to visit the official website and complete the registration.
- In order to register, candidates are required to provide their basic details including name, email address, mobile number, etc.
- Once registered, aspirants may log in and access the main application form.
- In the main application form, candidates have to provide their information such as academic details, personal details and contact details.
- Candidates should make sure that they enter all the details correctly. Otherwise, their candidature can get rejected.
- Along with the details, aspirants must upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
- While submitting the form, candidates are also required to pay the necessary application fee.

Admit Card
- The exam authority will release admit cards for those candidates who will fill and submit the admit card before the last date.
- To download their admit card, candidates have to provide their registration details on the official website.
- An admit card will carry information such as the date, time and venue of the examination.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall and take the exam without an admit card.
- Along with the admit card, it is also compulsory for all candidates to carry a photo ID proof at the exam centre.
Result
- Candidates will be able to check the result by visiting the official website.
- To open the result card, aspirants have to provide their roll numbers and other registration details.
- It is mandatory for candidates to score more than qualifying marks in order to clear the exam.
- The qualifying marks are different for candidates from various categories as given below.
- General /2A/2B/3A/3B: 60% marks
- SC / ST / C-I, differently abled persons: 55% marks
- Successful candidates will then get eligibility certificates.
