This exam is a gateway for admission to various engineering courses offered by Mizoram University. MZUEEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. The general eligibility criteria for MZUEEE 2022 examination are explained below.

For Admission to B.Tech degree Course

Date of birth

• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1997 are eligible. However, for SC, ST, and PWD candidates the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PWD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1992 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should have passed the higher secondary or 10+2 (Class XII) Examination or its equivalent from any recognized board having secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (45% for SC/ ST candidates).

Note: Those candidates who will appear for the class 12th examination in the year 2022 are also eligible.

For Admission to Lateral Entry B. Tech

• Aspirants need to have a 3-year diploma holder in engineering in the relevant branch with a minimum of 60% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) marks may apply for lateral entry. Those appearing in the final examination in 2022 may also appear in MZUEEE-2022 provisionally.

MZUEEE 2022 Application Form

The application form will release in online mode only. Those who are looking to apply need to access the application form through the official website. The complete process of application is explained below.

• Before starting the application process, candidates have to give confirmation that they have the following things.
  • Soft copy of passport size colour photograph and signature (Max Size 25 KB)
  • A valid email ID and Mobile Phone
  • Scanned copies of all necessary documents.
• Then, candidates are required to register themselves by providing their basic details like full name, email ID, Mobile Number, programme, and department.
• Next, aspirants have to log-in and access their main application form.
• In the main application form, candidates are required to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
• After that, candidates have to upload scanned images of their following documents.
  • Class X, XII certificate, and mark sheets.
  • Diploma certificate and mark sheet(For lateral entry students)
  • Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) (if applicable)
  • PWD certificate (if applicable)
• It is also compulsory for all candidates to pay the required application fee.
• All candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form submitted and fee receipt for future references.

Application Fee

The application fees are different for candidates from various categories.

• General and OBC candidates: Rs. 700/-
• SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 350/-

Mode of payment: Application fees can be paid in online mode using a credit card, debit card, and internet banking.

Admit Card

• The admit card of MZUEEE 2022 examination will be uploaded in online mode.
• Candidates will be able to download the same through the official website by providing their registration number and password.
• An admit card will bear information regarding the date, time, and venue of the examination.
• No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without an admit card.
• It is also necessary to carry a copy of photo ID proof at the time of the examination along with an admit card.

Result

• The result of MZUEEE 2022 will be declared in online mode only.
• Those who will appear for the exam will be able to check the result by entering the roll number and date of birth on the official website.
• The result card consists of information related to marks secured by candidates in the entrance exam.
• Candidates must download and take a printout of the result card.

Merit List

• After the declaration of result, the university will also release merit lists of candidates selected for admission.
• Please note that there will be different merit lists for candidates selected on the basis of MZUEEE 2022 and JEE Main 2022 examination.
• Only those candidates will get their names in the merit list who will score than cut-off marks.
• Appropriate relaxation is the cut-off marks will be given to the candidates from reserved categories.

MZUEEE 2022 Counselling

• Once the result is declared, the university will invite successful candidates for counselling process.
• During the counselling process, candidates have to provide the choice of course and college in which they are looking to study.
• The allotment of seats will take place on the basis of ranks secured by candidates in the entrance exam.
• It is also compulsory to get documents verified at the time of counselling. So, candidates must ensure that they carry original documents during counselling.
