Educational Qualifications
- Aspirants should be able to write and read in the Odia language.

- Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree in science with any two of the subjects (PCM) or (CBZ) as pass/ honours/ optional with at least 50% marks for a recognized university along with a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institute. Or
- Candidates need to have 4 year integrated degree in B.Sc. B.Ed. from a recognized institute with PCM or CBZ as Pass/ honours/ elective/ optional with at least 50% marks.

- Applicants need to have 4 years integrated B.A.B.Ed. from an institute recognized by NCTE in any two of the following subjects – English, Odia, Hindi & Sanskrit and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography & Indian Polity as optional/ elective/ pass/ honours with at least 50% marks. Or
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in arts/ commerce in any two of the following subjects – English, Odia, Hindi & Sanskrit, and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography & Indian Polity along with a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE recognized institute.

- Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any one of the following subjects.
- Shastri Hindi from Odisha Rastrabhasa Parisad, Puri
- Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha
- Snataka, from Hindi Shiksya Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack
- Aspirants should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks in any one of the following subjects.

- Candidates should have a B.A in the Persian language with a minimum of 50% marks along with B.Ed. from a recognized institute/ university. Or Alim with 50% marks in aggregate marks.
- Classical Teacher – Telugu
- Applicants need to have a bachelor’s degree in arts with Telugu with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Aspirants should also have a B.Ed. degree.
- Classical Teacher – Sanskrit
- Those candidates who want to apply need to have a Bachelor’s degree in/ with Sanskrit as an honours/ optional/ elective/ pass subject with a minimum of aggregate 50% marks. Apart from this, candidates should also have Siksha Shastri (Sanskrit) degree from a recognized institute.
- Physical Education
- Candidates should have cleared 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized with a minimum of 50% marks along with B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed/ C.P.Ed from a recognized board or university
OSSTET 2022 Application Form
The application form for OSSTET 2022 will release in online mode through the official website only. Those eligible candidates who want to apply may follow the steps given below.
- First of all, candidates have to visit the official website i.e. osstet.co.in.
- On the official portal, aspirants have to register by providing some of their basic details such as name, email Id, phone number, etc.
- Once registered, candidates can log in and access the main application form.
- In the main application form, candidates have to enter their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- The details entered in the application form must be accurate. Otherwise, authorities may reject the candidature of an applicant.
- It is also compulsory for all candidates to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature.
- Along with the application form, aspirants have to pay the required application fees.
- It is recommended that candidates should keep a printout of the application form submitted for future requirements.
Application Fee
The application fees are different for candidates from different categories as given below.
- General, OBC, SEBC categories: Rs. 500/-
- SC/ ST categories: Rs. 300/-
Mode of payment: Application fees can be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or internet banking. Alternatively, candidates also make application fees payment offline through a bank challan.

OSSTET 2022 Syllabus
The syllabus of OSSTET 2022 examination is given below.
English – Comprehension (from an unseen passage in about 100 words, from a poem, grammar and usage, speaking), vocabulary – antonyms, synonyms, language usage, testing of grammar and usage in the following areas – prepositions, direct and indirect speech, passives, testing reading comprehension of a poem through – Global question, factual questions, vocabulary in the text – antonym, synonym, meaning as conveyed in the text.
TGT Arts – History (Great rulers of ancient India, Development of Arts and architecture during mourya age, gupta age and kushana age, development of literature and science in Ancient India, Rise of British Power in India for 1757 to 1856, Growth of Indian Nationalism, Indian National Movement, First world war and Russian Revolution, Second world war – Causes and consequences, Political Science (Salient features of Indian Constitution, preamble, fundamental rights, directive principles of state policy, fundamental duties, Union Government – President, Prime minister, council of ministers, parliament and supreme court), Geography (Physical Geography of India, Resources with special reference to India, Physical Geography, Globe and maps, etc.)
TGT Science – Physics (Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Matter, Sound, Optics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction), Chemistry (Basic concepts, State of Matter, Structure of Atom, Classification and Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Reactions, Chemical Equilibria and Ionic Equilibria, General Principles of extraction of metals, etc.
OSSTET 2022 Admit Card
- Once the application form submission process gets completed, the exam authority will release admit cards online.
- To download an admit card, candidates have to provide their registration details on the official website.
- Information such as the date, time, and venue of the examination will be mentioned on the admit card.
- Along with the admit card, it is compulsory for all candidates to carry at least one of their photo ID proofs such as Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Pan card, etc.
- No candidate will be allowed to take the examination without an admit card and photo ID proof.
Answer Key
- With an aim to help candidates match their answers with the correct ones, BSEO will release provisional answer keys.
- The answer keys will be made available in the form of PDF files.
- If a candidate is not satisfied with the released answer key then he/ she can submit an objection against the same.
- A team of experts will determine all objections submitted by candidates and then final answer keys on the official website.
- The result will be prepared based on the final answer keys.
OSSTET 2022 Result
- Those candidates who will appear for the examination will be able to check the result by providing their roll numbers and other registration details.
- The result will be available online through the official website only.
- On the result card, subject-wise and total marks secured by candidates will be mentioned.
- It is necessary for all candidates to score more than qualifying marks in order to clear the exam.
- The qualifying marks are different for candidates from various categories as given below.
- For unserved categories – 60% marks i.e. 90 marks out of 150
- For SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC categories – 50% marks i.e. 75 marks out of 150.
