Punjab ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
It is necessary for all candidates to make sure that they are eligible before filling the application form. Given below are the eligibility criteria in order to apply for Punjab ITI Admission 2022.
Nationality
- Only Indian citizens are allowed to apply
Age Limit
- The age of a candidate should be more than 14 years
- Candidates must have completed the age of 18 years for driver cum mechanic (Heavy motor vehicle) trade.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification requirements are different for various courses
- Architectural Draughtsman/ Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant)/ Draughtsman (Civil)/ Draughtsman Mechanical/ Electrician/ Electroplater/ Fitter/ Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance/ Information Technology/ Instrument Mechanic/ Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant)/ Machinist/ Machinist Grinder/ Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV)
/ Mechanic Tractor/ Plastic Processing Operator- Candidates must have passed the class 10th under 10+2 system with science & maths or its equivalent.
- Surface Ornamentation Techniques (Embroidery)/ Sewing Technology/ Dress Making/ Wireman/ Welder/ Welder (GMAW & GTAW)/ Plumber/ Painter (General)/ Mason (Building Constructor)/ Carpenter
- Aspirants should have passed class 8th exam from a recognized board of education.
- Punjabi Stenography
- Candidates must have completed class 10th under 10+2 education system with Punjabi as a subject.
- Cutting Sewing and Embroidery Teacher Training course
- Applicants must have passed 10th class under 10+2 education system.
- Aspirants also required an N.T.C. certificate of Cutting & Sewing or Dress Making or Fashion Technology or BBBT in Apparel sector under the CoE scheme.
- Candidates must have an N.T.C. certificate of Emb. Needle Work or Hair & Skin Care or Fruit & Vegetable Preservation/ Food Processing Trade.
Punjab ITI Admission 2022 Application Form
The application form for Punjab ITI admission 2022 will be made available online. Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply need to access the application form through the official website. Complete details related to the application process are as follow.
- To start the application form submission, candidates need to visit the official website and register themselves.
- Once registration, candidates will get their login credentials on their email ID or mobile number.
- Then, aspirants have to sign-in and access the main application form.
- In the main application form, candidates have to fill in their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- Candidates must make sure that they fill in all details carefully. Otherwise, the application form can get rejected.
- Along with the details, aspirants must upload the scanned images of all their necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- It is advised that candidates should take a printout of the application form submitted for future references.
Result and Merit list
- Once the application form submission process gets over, admission authorities will prepare merit lists.
- Merit lists will be published online on the official website of DTE.
- Please note that there will be different merit lists for various trades. Plus, the authority will provide benefits of reservations while preparing merit lists as per the rules.
- Please note that 85% of the total seats are reserved for the candidates from the Punjab State and 15% will be open to candidates for other States.
- Those successful candidates who will get their names on the merit list will be allowed to take part in the counselling process.
Punjab ITI Admission 2022 Counselling Process
- The counselling for Punjab ITI Admission 2022 will take place in online mode.
- To participate in the e-counselling, aspirants have to register themselves through the official website.
- In the counselling process, candidates have to provide the choice of ITI in which they want to study. Please note that an aspirant will be allowed to fill the choices only after document verification.
- The seats will be allowed based on the merit and choices filled by candidates during counselling.
- Next, provisional seat allotment letters will be issued and candidates have to report to the allotted ITI to finish the rest of the admission formalities.
- Candidates must note that the counselling process will take place in three rounds. The reservation policy as per Punjab govt. notification will be followed in the first two rounds of the counselling. There will be no reservation in the third round of the counselling and the selection of candidates will be totally rank based.
