RRB NTPC 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality Criteria

A candidate must be either:

1. a resident of India, or
2. a subject of Nepal, or
3. a subject of Bhutan, or
4. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
6. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above, shall be a person ,in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is essential may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

RRB NTPC 2022 Application Form

RRB NTPC 2022 application process has two major sections- filling up the registration form and payment of application fee. Candidates are required to register for the exam first and for the same they need to go to its official website of RRB (www.indianrailways.gov.in). Please choose the zone you are interested to apply in.

Once you have registered yourself successfully then you need to fill in your personal details, educational details and upload signature and photograph.

Application Fee

You can make payment of application fee online using credit card/debit card/net banking/upi in online mode or through SBI Challan in offline mode.

RRB NTPC 2022 Selection Process

Candidates are selected through RRB NTPC after clearing the stages provided below:

For each question, candidates will get four options out of which they need to find the one correct answer. For every correct attempt, 1 mark will be awarded and in case of an incorrect attempt, 1/3 marks would be deducted from the total.

Typing Test

Under the test:

Candidates will be required type 25 words per minute in Kruti Dev or Mangal font in Hindi typing and 30 words per minute in English typing on a standard computer without the use of any additional tools.

RRB NTPC 2022 Answer Key

The preliminary answer key of RRB NTPC will release at the official website of RRB once the exam is over. Candidates will be able to download the answer key in pdf format and calculate their probable score with the help of the same and response sheet.

In case candidates find some sort of discrepancies in the answer key then they may raise objection against the same. In that case, they have to make payment of Rs.50/- as objection fee. If the RRB finds the objection is genuine then they will publish the updated answer key and refund the amount paid. However, once the final answer key is released, candidates won’t be able to put objections.

RRB NTPC 2022 Result

The authority will first declare the first stage CBT result. Candidates who qualify the first stage CBT will be further invited to attend the second stage CBT. Direct link to check your result will be updated here in this section soon.

Candidates may check result using their registration number and date of birth at the official website of RRB. You need to verify your name, registration number, roll number, pro-rated score, raw score, normalized marks and qualifying status after downloading the result copy.

The final answer key will be also released along with the result of candidates. Candidates are shortlisted based on their aggregate marks in First Stage of CBT, Second Stage of CBT, Typing test and medical test.
