SBI PO Exam Pattern 2024: Candidates who are planning to appear in SBI PO exam must be aware about SBI PO exam pattern for better preparation. SBI PO selection process

The selection process of SBI PO will include the following three steps:

• Step 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type questions) – 100 Marks
• Step 2: Main Examination (Objective Type question + descriptive questions) – 200 Marks+ 50 Marks
• Step 3: Group Discussion and Interview round – 50 Marks

Exam pattern for SBI PO Preliminary Examination

• The Preliminary examination of SBI PO will be an objective type test.
• The test will conduct for 100 marks
• SBI PO Exam Preliminary examination will be held in online mode
• Duration of entrance exam is 1 hour.
• Prelims exam consist of three sections such as English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.
• There will be a provision of negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong response.

The mains exam of SBI PO will include following two categories:

• Objective Paper
• Descriptive Paper

Details of objective paper

• The objective paper of Mains will conduct for 200 marks.
• The exam will be held in online mode.
• The duration of exam will be 3 hours.
• The exam will consist of 4 sections such as Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General Economics & Banking Awareness and English Language.
• There will be the provision of negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Structure of objective paper for SBI PO Main Examination

Details of Descriptive paper

• It will be held in online mode
• The duration of exam will be 30 minutes.
• The exam will conduct for 50 marks.
• Descriptive test will be held in English language (Letter & Essay Writing).

Group Discussion and Interview

• Candidates, who qualify the main exam, will be invited for the group discussion /Interview Round.
• Group Discussion will be conduct for 20 marks while Interview carry 30 marks.
