SSC CGL Application Form: Apply Online, Fee, Important Dates
SSC CGL Application Form (Released): The aspirants can obtain the application form of SSC CGL online from the official website of conducting body i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is the respective authority which organizes Combined Graduate Level Examination every year for selecting eligible candidates for various categories for the posts offered in various Ministry / Departmental/ Organizations. The entrance exam of SSC CGL will be designed in 4 tiers i.e. (Tier-I), (Tier II), (Tier III), and (Tier IV) and held on different dates.
Interested and eligible candidates who want to apply may visit the official website at ssc.nic.in and fill the online application form. The application forms have to be submitted only via online mode. The candidates are needed to fill all the details correctly and carefully as mentioned in the application form.

SSC CGL Application Process
The interested candidates, who are eligible to apply for SSC CGL exam, should register themselves first. To execute the registration process, candidates need to visit the official website of SSC CGL at ssc.nic.in as per the specified date.
The SSC CGL Application Form should be filled and submitted online on or before the due date. Candidates are advised to read the important instructions carefully before starting application fill in process. The online application form of SSC CGL will be completed in 2 parts as follows:

Part B – SSC CGL Application Form Filling
The link for registering will be available in “Apply Section”. Click on the same link and fill in the basic details such as
- Candidate’s Name
- Confirm Name
- Candidate’s Father Name
- Confirm the Candidate’s Father Name
- Roll Number of Secondary Board Examination
- Date of Birth (DOB), category and gender for registration purpose
After filling the above details, a unique registration number will be generated on the successful registration. Candidates should note down the registration number or they may also save the page by taking a printout of it.
Thereafter, enter the registration number and Transaction ID of the Bank given by the commission correctly in the given space. Candidate should upload the scanned signature and photograph as per prescribed specifications. Incomplete and applications received after due date will be rejected summarily.
Format of scanned files for the SSC CGL application form
- The photograph should be in JPG format.
- The digital size of the photograph should be more than 30 kb and less than 50 kb
- The scanned image of signature should be in JPG Format
- The digital size of the signature should be less than 12 kb and greater than 1 kb

Payment mode
Through SBI Net Banking/Credit Card Payment
The candidates can make the payment of application fees only either in challan form which will be generated online, or via SBI Net Banking/ via any debit and credit card. It should be noted down once the fee is submitted it will not be refunded or transferred under any circumstances. Those who want to deposit fee online via SBI net banking/ Debit cards or Credit card, can go directly to the prescribed link (available after official notification release) and pay the mandatory fees.
Payment through cash mode
Candidates, who want to pay said fee in cash, should take a printout of the challan generated online after successful submission of the application form and pay the necessary fee in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
On the successful remittance of the application fees, the applicants will receive a confirmation message via SMS mode and Email mode. Candidates are advised to keep the copy of this email safe to be produced before the Regional Office in the case of any discrepancy.
Note: Applicant should note that after the final submission of form, there will be no provision for making any changes/online editing or correction in the online SSC CGL Application Form under any situations. Also, keep a copy of the challan through which application form fee will be paid.
