SSC MTS 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates need to satisfy the important eligibility criteria before appearing in the SSC MTS recruitment test. The prescribed eligibility criteria of SSC MTS 2021 are as following:
Age limit
The candidate’s age should lay in b/w 18-25 years as on 01.08.2018. Moreover, there will be age relaxation given to the candidates belonging from reserved categories.
Educational Qualification
Aspirants should have completed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
Applicants appearing in the qualifying examination may also eligible to apply. However, they have to submit their valid passing certificate from the Board/University on or before the given date.
Nationality
- A candidate must be either a citizen of India, or belongs to Nepal or Bhutan.
- A Tibetan immigrant who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962, with the purpose of permanently settling in India can also apply.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam with the objective of permanently settling in India may also apply for this examination.

SSC MTS 2021 Application Form
Interested and eligible candidates have to fill and submit their SSC MTS 2021 application form through online mode only. Candidates need to visit the official website of SSC i.e. http://ssconline.nic.in for the online submission of application form.
Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before entering the details or selecting options. They need to fill all the required fields (marked with * sign) while filling up the online form.
Before submitting the duly filled in application form, candidates are needed to pay the applicable application fee for completing the process of application.
Application fee:
- Candidates have to pay Rs.100 as SSC MTS Application fee through any credit card, debit card, or SBI bank challan or SBI Net banking.
- All Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PH and Ex-servicemen category will be exempted from paying the application fee.
Examination Pattern
The examination will consist of two papers i.e. Paper-I and paper 2. Paper 1 is objective type paper while Paper 2 is in descriptive nature. The details of both papers are given below:

Admit Card/Hall ticket
The admit card of SSC MTS will be available most probably in the month of February 2021. Candidates can obtain their admit card through official portal of SSC.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in both exam i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates can appear in paper 2 only after qualifying the paper 1.
