Eligibility Criteria
The candidates born between 1st October, 2019 and 30th September, 2020 are eligible for admissions in Nursery class.
Application Process
The parents can obtain the application form for Shri Ram School Admission 2024 by visiting the official website of the school.
- Basic details of the students and their parents will be asked in the application form.
- Care should be taken to provide correct email address into the form as it will be used by the school for further communication.
- Also upload photographs for student, father and mother of height 430 pixels (4.47 inches) and width 350 pixels (3.64 inches) into the form.
- After providing all the details into the application form, submit it online.
- A unique registration number will be generated after the successful acceptance of the application form.
- Once the form is submitted successfully, a printout should be taken and kept safe for future reference.
Admission Process
Admission will be offered to the candidates in Pravesh Vatika (Nursery) on the basis of points obtained. The points will be calculated as per the following:
- Neighborhood: For students residing 0-10 km range of school, 20 points will be awarded, for 10 – 15 km, 10 points will be awarded and beyond 15 km, 5 points will be awarded
- Staff, Sibling or Alumni of The Shri Ram Schools: 35 points will be awarded to the Wards of staff of The Shri Ram School, or siblings (cousins not eligible) of the students already studying in the school or those related to alumni of the school.
- Special Needs: Child with special needs who can be mainstreamed under Inclusive Education will be given 5 points.
- First born child: 15 points will be given to the first born child. In case of twins, both the children will be awarded 15 points.
- Parent Response: 25 marks will be given on the basis of response on relative role of parents and educators.
After calculation of points, a list of the selected candidates will be prepared and published on the school’s website. Such candidates will then have to report to the school and complete the formalities like verification of documents, payment of admission fees, etc.
Alumni of The Shri Ram Schools
Any of the following conditions must be fulfilled to be eligible for Alumni:
- Studied at The Shri Ram School for a minimum of 5 consecutive years and has been an active participating alumnus
- Passed the ICSE/ ISC/ IB/ NIOS or any other recognized board from The Shri Ram Schools or has been an active participating alumnus
- Should be a registered member of the Alumni Association
Important Documents
The following documents in original and photocopy must be carried at the time of reporting for admission:
- Student’s birth certificate issued by the municipal corporation
- Address proof like Passport/ Lease Deed/ Electricity Bill/ MTNL Telephone Bill/ Electoral Card/ Aadhaar Card
- In case of sibling applicants, the identity card or admission number of sibling studying in the school
- staff ID card in case of staff’s children
- Migration certificate of the alumni parent, in case of ward of Alumni of the school
- Affidavit affirming that the child seeking admission is the first born child, if applicable
- Medical certificate from government hospital or a report of diagnosis from a recognized hospital in case of special need or/ disability
Facilities at the school
The students will be provided the following facilities inside the school campus:
- Laboratories: Spacious Science, Social Studies, Mathematics laboratories and two computer labs with internet connectivity
- Lunch: Optional lunch for pre-primary classes but is mandatory from class 2nd onwards
- Library: School has a well-stocked library with more than 18000 books for children and adults
- Sports: Outdoor basket ball court, badminton court, soccer field, indoor basket ball court, gymnasium, etc can be found on the school campus
- Transport: Safe and reliable bus transportation is provided to those who need it.
- Auditorium: The Manju Bharat Ram Hall comprises of a stage for performance and a seating area for an audience of almost 1400.
- Medical facility: Well-equipped medical room with facilities to cater to medical emergencies as well as basic necessary medicines is present.
