The candidates who wish to get admissions into the ITI colleges of Uttar Pradesh can apply for the same in online mode. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of their performance in the qualifying exam (8th or 10th). Admission will be granted to the candidates in different trades such as Carpenter, Sheet Metal Worker, Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, etc as per their choice. Candidates must check their eligibility before applying for the UP ITI Admission 2024.

- No entrance test will be conducted and admissions into UP ITI colleges will be given on merit basis.
- The email id or phone number entered in the application form must be valid and kept active till the process of admission is over.

UP ITI Application Form 2024
The candidates can obtain the application form for UP ITI admission process from the official website https://scvtup.in/. Candidates should read the important instructions before proceeding towards filling the form.
- The candidates can get the instruction booklet and a confidential code to fill the online application by paying the application fee in advance.
- This booklet and code can be obtained from State Industrial Training Institutes and district/ regional vending offices.
- The application fee will be Rs. 250/- for general/ OBC candidates and Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST candidates.
- The candidates can then start filling their application form by providing their basic personal details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, category, date of birth, etc.
- Academic details such as institute name, board name, marks obtained, passing status, etc will also be asked in the application form.
- Details for communication such as email id and phone number should be entered carefully in the application form.
- After providing all the important details as asked in the application form, the candidates can submit it.
- To submit the application form, the candidates should take a printout of the duly filled form and put it in the drop box at any nearby State Industrial Training Institute.
UP ITI 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The following is the eligibility criteria for taking part in the UP ITI admission 2024:
Age limit:
- The minimum age of the candidates as on 1st August 2024 should not be less than 14 years. There will be no maximum age limit for UP ITI 2024.
Educational qualification:

Physical standards:
- The candidates should be mentally and physically fit to carry out the important tasks related to their trade.
Merit List
- After the application process is over, the authorities will start preparing merit list of the successfully registered candidates.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in their class 10th or 8th exam (as applicable).
- Merit list will prepared in the order of ranking and rest of the admission process will be carried out as per the list.
- In case of a tie, the candidates older in age will be given preference in ranking.
- In case the age is also same, candidate who submit the application earlier will be given better ranking.
Choice Filling & Seat Allotment
- The candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be allowed to provide their choice for trade and institute.
- Candidates can provide as much choice as they want for trade and institute and it must be done in order of preference.
- According to the choices provided by the candidates, seats will be allotted to them.
- The ranking of the candidates will also be considered for allotting seats to the candidates.
- Once the seats are allotted to the candidates, they need to report to the institute to complete the admission formalities.
- Applicants reporting for admission must carry their original documents with them for verification.
- Final admission will be granted to the candidates after successful verification of certificates, eligibility, etc.
