UPES MEET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The eligibility criteria for applying for the UPES MEET 2022 are given below:

• The candidates need to hold a BE/ B.Tech degree in relevant specialization (as given below) from a recognized university.
• A minimum aggregate of 60% marks is required in BE/ B.Tech degree program.
• Candidates with an M.Sc degree in related branch might apply as well.
• Those in the final year of the qualifying degree in the year 2022 are eligible to apply too.

UPES MEET 2022 Application Form

Online application:

Interested candidates can fill their application form for UPES MEET through online mode from the website www.upes.ac.in. Candidates are advised to read the information brochure carefully before applying for the entrance exam.

• To fill the application form, the candidates will have to enter their basic personal details like name, email address, category, gender, date of birth, etc.
• Academic details related to the qualifying exam such as marks obtained, name of the university, year of passing, etc will also be asked in the application form.
• The candidates will also have to upload copies of their photograph and signature in the application form in scanned format.
• After providing all these details into the application form, the candidates can submit it online with the prescribed amount of application fee.
• Upon successful submission of the application form, a printout of the same should be taken by the candidates and kept safe for future reference.

There is also an offline procedure to fill the application form of UPES MEET where students can directly purchase the application form from the city offices of UPES or the institute campus in Dehradun. Students need to fill this form using blue/black ballpoint pen and send a Demand Draft (DD) of specified application fee drawn in favor of “UPES Fee Account” payable at New Delhi/ Dehradun with it.

• For Indian national candidates, the application fee is expected to be Rs. 1850/- and USD 75 for foreign national candidates.

UPES MEET Admit Card 2022

• The authority will publish the admit card for UPES MEET around 15 days before the date of entrance test.

Do I need to send the hard copy of the application form to the university?

Since the application process is completely online there is no need to send the hard copy of the application form or any other document to the university.

Can I obtain my MEET admit card through post?

No admit card will be sent to the candidates by post and can only be downloaded from the official website of the university.

What is the admission procedure for GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates?

Candidates with valid GATE/ GPAT score will be considered for admission without appearing in the entrance exam.

What if an ineligible candidate secures admission?

If an ineligible candidate is able to secure admission by providing false data or using any unfair means, his/ her candidature will be cancelled once the ineligibility is discovered. Any fees submitted will not be refunded.

Is there any way I can get scholarship for my postgraduate program?

Candidates who have scored a minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th and graduation will be offered 50% waiver for 1st semester tuition fee on 10% seats in each program. Scholarship of Rs. 12400/- per month for students having 70 percentile and above in GATE will be provided. To become eligible for the continuance scholarship in subsequent semesters, the students are required to earn minimum SGPA/ CGPA of 8.0 in each semester and passed every semester examination in the first attempt besides maintaining regular attendance, discipline and exemplary behavior. All students will also be eligible to avail a grant up to a sum of Rs. 50,000/- towards outcome-based research as per rules & regulations of the University.
