Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
- Candidates should be an Indian citizen
- However, citizens from Nepal and Bhutan are eligible to apply for UPSC IES ISS. Also, the applicants of Indian origin who are the migrants from Burma, east African countries and Pakistan can also apply for the same.
Age limit
- The age of applicant should lies in between 21 to 30 years.
Educational qualification
- For Indian Economic Service
Candidates who hold post graduation degree with Economics/Applied Economics/ Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometric from any recognized/certified university are eligible to apply for this post.
- For Indian Statistical Service
Candidates who have completed graduation with Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics /Applied Statistics or a Master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics/ Statistics/Applied Statistics from a certified University can apply.
UPSC IES ISS 2024 Application Form: How to apply
Before proceeding for application fill in process candidates should firstly ensure the eligibility criteria. Candidates who satisfy all the eligibility conditions can move forward to the application process.
- The application form for UPSC IES ISS will available in online mode only.
- The application form will include two stages i.e. Stage I & Stage II
- Candidates should complete both the parts very carefully with accurate details.
- Candidates have to pay Rs 200/ (except SC/ST/PH/Female category) as necessary application fee.
- The payment of fee can be made through either in cash or via SBI branch or by online mode
UPSC IES ISS 2024 Examination pattern
- The entrance test will include 2 papers namely part 1 and part 2.
- The part 1 will include 1000 marks.
- The second part will be of viva voce for 200 marks.
- The paper will available in the English language.

UPSC IES ISS 2024 Admit card
The conducting authority i.e. UPSC will release the admit card only in online mode. Candidates can download the same from the official website by entering the login details. Applicants should bring their admit card while appearing in the examination center. The admit card should be kept safe till the selection process is over.
UPSC IES ISS 2024 Result
The exam official will release the result of UPSC IES ISS online. In order to check the result, applicants should visit the official website of UPSC and enter the roll number and DOB in the specified fields.
