The admissions into different courses conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Technical University will be offered to the candidates on the basis of entrance exam. The UPTU 2022 entrance exam (UPCET 2022) will be conducted in the month of April 2022/ May 2022. Different exams will be conducted for admission into different courses in the form of 11 papers. The candidates must take care to apply for the specific paper related to their educational background. The interested candidates will be able to apply for the UPTU admission 2022 in online mode from the month of January 2022. The candidates from all over the country can apply (except for lateral entry courses) but the benefit of reservation will be given only to the candidates who fulfill the domicile criteria of the UP state.

UPCET 2022 Exam Pattern

The UPCET exam pattern 2022 is given below as:-

UPCET 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus for the different papers will be based on the topics studied by the candidates at their qualifying exam level. The syllabus for undergraduate courses will comprise the topics from class 12^th level and those for postgraduate courses will comprise the topics from graduation level.

UPCET Eligibility Criteria 2022

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates applying for UPCET Admission 2022:

• B.Tech/ B.Des/ MCA (Integrated): The candidates should have passed class 12^th exam with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from a recognized board with 45% minimum marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
• B.Tech (Biotechnology): The candidates should have passed class 12^th exam with Physics, Mathematics or Biology and any one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject with 45% minimum marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
• B.Tech (Agriculture Engg.): The candidates should have cleared intermediate examination of UP Board or equivalent from any recognized board in agricultural subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
• B.Arch: The candidates should have passed class 12^th exam with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology/ Engineering Drawing/ Technical Vocational subject with 50% minimum marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates).
• B.Pharm: The candidates should have cleared class 12^th exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject from a recognized board with 45% minimum marks (40% for SC/ ST candidates).
• BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA (Integrated): A pass in 12^th or any equivalent exam in any discipline is required.
• MBA (1^st year): The candidates should have passed 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university securing a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate.
• MCA (1^st year): The candidates should have passed 3-year Bachelors degree from a recognized university securing a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) in aggregate. A pass in Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level is also required.
• B.Tech (lateral entry)/ B.Pharm (lateral entry): Candidates who have passed 3-year Engineering Diploma (or 2/3 –year Diploma in Pharmacy for B.Pharm) from an UP based institute or whose parent(s) are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and have passed Engineering Diploma with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) from any recognized university are eligible. Those who have passed 3-year B.Sc. degree and passed XII standard with Mathematics as one of the subject are also eligible for admission to any branch of Engineering/ Technology.
• MCA (lateral entry): The candidate should have passed 3-year Bachelors degree (BCA or B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science)) or equivalent securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST) marks in aggregate. The candidate must have passed Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.

UPCET 2022 Application Form

The UPCET application form 2022 will be made available in online mode on the official university website. It is expected that the form will release in the month of January and the candidates can fill it by visiting the website upsee.nic.in.

• In the application form, the personal as well as educational details of the candidates will be asked.
• The candidates must provide all the details carefully into the form as any incorrect form will be liable for rejection.
• The candidates will also be able to make changes in the filled and submitted application form once the correction window opens.
• Apart from providing personal and academic details, the candidates will also have to provide their choice of course and the exam center in the form.
• Scanned copies of photograph and signature will also be uploaded in the application form.
• The duly filled application form should then be submitted along the with the application fee on or before the last date.

Application fee:

• The application fee will be Rs. 1300/- for General/ OBC category candidates and Rs. 650/- for Female/ PH/ SC/ ST category candidates.
• The fee payment can be done online via credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ wallets.

Admit Card

• The admit card for UPCET 2022 entrance exam will be made available for the candidates who submit their application successfully.
• The candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website of UPCET.
• The candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center along with a valid identity proof.
• The admit card should be kept safe until the whole process of admission is complete.

Result

• The candidates will be able to check their UPCET result 2022 by visiting the UPCET official website.
• The result is supposed to be announced in the 1^st week of June 2022.
• A merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared as per their marks in the entrance exam.
• Counseling of the successful candidates will be held according to the merit list.

UPCET 2022 Counseling

• The concerned authorities will conduct the counseling of the candidates who are declared as qualified.
• The candidates will be allowed to provide the online choices for college and course specialization.
• The documents and eligibility of the candidates will also be verified during the counseling.
• Final admission will be granted on the basis of choices made by the candidates and their ranking.
