The application form for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) has been released on 24th December 2021 in online mode. The last date to apply is 10th January 2022. Those who want to apply need to fill and submit the form before the last date. WBJEE application form will be released by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. It is a joint entrance examination conducted to select candidates for Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the State. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria carefully before submitting the application form. How to apply for WBJEE?
Before filling the application form, candidates must ensure that they are eligible. So, aspirants should check the WBJEE Eligibility Criteria beforehand. The step by step process to submit the WBJEE application form is explained below.
1st Step – Registration
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.
- On the official website, you need to register as a new candidate.
- At the time of registration, you will have to provide basic details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type and number, present and permanent address, mobile number, email ID, etc.
- Aspirants must enter the following information carefully because it cannot be edited later on name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, and domicile.
- At the time of the registration, candidates also need to create a password and choose a security question.
- The application number will be generated after registration. The application number will appear on the screen. At the same time, it will also be sent via SMS/ email.
2nd Step – Filling the Application Form
- After registration, candidates have to sign-in in order to access the main application form.
- In the main application form, candidates must provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
- The details such as domicile, category, PwD status, family income status, religion, nationality, academic details, etc. should be entered in the application form.
- If you have also applied for JEE Main then you will have to enter your JEE Main application number.
- In the application form, candidates must choose any three zones of examinations in order of his/ her choice.
3rd Step – Uploading of Images
- In this step, candidates have to upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature.
- Both photograph and signature should be in JPEG/ JPG format.
- The size of the photograph should be 10 kb to 200 kb and signature should be 4 kb to 30 kb.
- Apart from this, candidates also need to upload other applicable documents West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board in PDF Format (50 kb to 300 kb).
4th Step – Payment of Examination Fees
- The application fees are different for candidates from various categories.
- General Candidates – Rs. 500/-
- SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B Candidates – Rs. 400/-
- Mode of payment – The application fees can be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or internet banking.
- The application fee once paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
5th Step – Confirmation Page
- The confirmation page will be generated after you finally submit the application form.
- Remember, the application is not completed until the confirmation page is generated.
- Download the confirmation page and keep it safe for future references.
Note: Aspirants must keep the confirmation page safe because it cannot be regenerated after completion of the declared e-counselling and admission process conducted by the board.
